Catton leads Kraken forwards in Box WAR so far this season. Impressive start for a young player they desperately need to hit his ceiling.
Blake Coleman scores on the empty net to make this 5-1. #SeaKraken
The Seaettle Kraken have pulled the goalie down 4-1 with 5:15 remaining.

Its truly great to know there's continued advancement in data-based evaluation...sure wish more of the raw numbers could get to the public space to keep innovation going.
The NHL has taken away two shots on goal from Seattle in the second, meaning the #SeaKraken had one (1) shot on goal in the period.
The Kraken have had four one-shot periods in franchise history, the previous all coming in the third period. In two of them, they were protecting a lead.
The third period is under way. #SeaKraken
Yikes, that second period

I'm officially in on Seattle as well.
I'm not sure how they're doing it, this team on paper looks atrocious, but hockey isn't played on paper.
On the actual ice, this is such a disciplined team. They stick to their system and play it well. Suffocation at their blue line on zone entry attempts. You physically cannot get anything on them 95% of the time unless you're dumping and chasing and win the foot race.
I thought they'd be one of the worst teams in the league before this season, after watching their first ~month of the season though, I'd be really shocked if they're not in the playoff race right to the end of the season.
After two, the #SeaKraken trail by three.
Seattle played so well in the first period! Then the second period happened. Seattle got outshot 16-3 in the period and outscored 3-0. Spending that much time in the box doesn't help, but a poor period regardless.
Oof.
4-1 Wild
2nd int.
Seattle goes on the power play with 33.9 in the period when Tyler Pitlick, the #SeaKraken expansion pick from Arizona, takes a tripping penalty.
This game has completely come apart. Joel Eriksson Ek scores on the rebound.
Seattle has only come back down three goals once in franchise history.
#SeaKraken
Minnesota scores. Olli Maatta scores from distance and the #SeaKraken, who played so well the first period, are starting to fade.
#SeaKraken
#SeaKraken fans are booing Quinn Hughes every time he touches the puck. No apparent reason that we can tell on the press bridge, just booing for love of the game.
Seattle puts Minnesota on the power play when Ryker Evans gets a double minor for high-sticking.
The #SeaKraken PK has really struggled recently. Very high leverage four minutes coming up.
Seattle gives up another breakaway goal. Blake Coleman out of the penalty box really putting a damper on an otherwise pretty solid #SeaKraken effort.
Chandler Stephenson goes off for tripping.
Blake Coleman goes off for interference.
We play 4-on-4.
#SeaKraken
The #SeaKraken start the second period on a power play because Blake Coleman decided to commit goalie interference at the end of the first.
And the second period is
under
way!
Berkly Catton did it tonight! Second game in a row a #SeaKraken has scored on the power play he drew!
Matty Beniers scoring on a the same power play after drawing a penalty is the 9th time in franchise history a player has scored on a power play he earned.
Jared McCann: 3 times
Jordan Eberle: 2
Daniel Sprong/Andre Burakovsky/Matty Beniers/Kaapo Kakko: 1
