Yesterday, we introduced you to Backend Tunables, a system that lets us get small balance changes in your hands quicker, in between patches.
To help show you this system in action, we're prepping some buffs for The Good Guy to put him in a better place for the long term:

🔪Shorter Hidey-Ho mode cooldown

We welcomed The Good Guy out of his box and into The Fog nearly three years ago, but it's now time for the Chucky Chapter to leave the shelf.
On November 24, 2026, the Chapter and its associated content will be removed from in-game and first-party stores. Any content unlocked before that date will remain available to use in-game.
To celebrate his time in The Fog, the content of the Chapter will be on sale on all platforms starting on Monday, October 26, giving you a chance to unlock the Character and Cosmetics before they leave the store.

Q: Will we get different game modes in the future?
A: Game modes are always something we're discussing and testing, and we love hearing what players would like to play (so keep sharing 'em!). We can’t confirm everything we’re looking into, but you can expect to hear more about 1v1 soon (*whispers* January 2027!)

Q: Will we get more settings for Custom Games?
A: Whilst we can’t confirm specifics, we can say we’ve been working on a few things that will improve the experience of players who enjoy custom matches. We held a focus group with tournament organizers a while back and are planning another one to help shape these changes. As soon as we can share more, we will.
