Damn, looks like Keystone may be done.
KEYSTONE TO DESTROY 18,835 HARDWARE WALLETS AFTER HACKERS STEAL DEVICE AUTHENTICATION KEY
Keystone has confirmed it will destroy 18,835 hardware wallets in existing inventory after attackers stole the cryptographic key used to verify the authenticity of its devices.
The breach is particularly concerning because the stolen key could allow attackers to manufacture counterfeit Keystone wallets that successfully pass the company's official authenticity checks, potentially putting users' Bitcoin at risk.
The key is permanently embedded in existing devices and cannot be erased or replaced, forcing Keystone to destroy its remaining inventory, suspend shipments and manufacture new devices with a replacement key.
The company says attackers exploited a vulnerability in a third-party monitoring tool on its official website on October 20, gaining access to:
- 25,964 customer records containing names, contact details, shipping addresses and purchase information.
- 12,873 abandoned checkout records containing potentially sensitive customer information.
Keystone also acknowledged that its automated data deletion system had failed, leaving customer information stored beyond its stated retention period.
The company says recovery phrases, private keys and transaction signing were not compromised.
Devices delivered before October 20 remain unaffected, but customers receiving devices with the old authentication key after that date are advised to seek additional verification.
Keystone has suspended shipments, begun notifying affected customers and is moving production to a new authentication key.

A hypocritical Chinese student whose education is funded by Australian taxpayers is protesting against the Australian government.
When a reporter asks him why he doesn't protest against the Chinese Communist government, he doesn't have the guts to answer.
He complains about democracy in Australia while enjoying the freedom to protest that it provides.

George likes his Bitcoin friends but he also likes his non bitcoiner friends, can he manage them both?
I'm not an Elon hater.
I'm just telling you the Honest Truth:
This is a marketing stunt.
The technology is quite old.
Just nobody ever thought of bolting it on a car.
Because it's pointless.
Porsche or Ferrari could also build something like this if they wanted, but they don't, because it's not worth it for them.
It's worth it for Elon though, because his entire brand is all about having the halo of futurism.
His marketing scales especially well with tech gimmicks like this, which is why he is financially incentivised to do them, while others aren't.
Again, I'm not hating, but actually educating yall.
This is not engineering genius.
It's marketing genius.
So the new chapter was Chapter 11??

Big congratulations to the @zksync airbender team for this milestone.
At this point, I consider the battle for speed to be definitively won, and the top priority for zkEVMs should shift fully to security.
To me that means formally verifying
(i) equivalence of the arithmetization to the ethereum spec
(ii) a hard maximum bound on (prover cost) / (amount of gas in block)
(iii) security of the proof system itself

🤔 ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood said Ethereum could hit $180,000 by 2030.
That would be a 7,130% MOVE from here!
What does it mean to be a “frontier blockchain”?
It means that, through dozens of upgrades, we're upgrading past the name blockchain. No other innovates its own fundamental parts so regularly without even a second of downtime. While others chase adoption through compromises, Ethereum remains confident users follow the most robust chain.
Ethereum Institutional is making that case clear. Institutions will build on Ethereum not because it optimizes for the highest bidders, but because it is the only blockspace capable of meeting the highest standards. The cryptographic world computer will have no equal. Read more here about where we've been and where we're headed on EI's visualization of Vitalik's blog post.
1 / @ethereum is still called a blockchain. By 2030, that word won't cover it.
We turned @VitalikButerin's essay "The cryptographic world computer" into a visual reading: every block checked with one proof, final in seconds, built by many.
