Allow me to be the spokesperson for some of us who I feel are too small and perhaps even ignored in this third round. This includes : - Individuals - Builders - Non-English persons - And smaller initiatives I'm worried that we may not meet the minimum threshold of 17 votes, even though I firmly believe that we have had an impact on the $OP collective over the past months or even years. As mentioned in the documentation itself: "If you’re (BadgeHolder) not voting on an application, you’re expressing indifference as to how much OP this application should receive." This is evident, as stated in one of the two lists that mention some of us so far: "With this list, I want to highlight applications concerning localized efforts in non-English language areas." "Very often this kind of effort is unrecognized and unpaid, and retroactive public goods funding could therefore make a big difference." While I believe that infrastructure builders, smart contract developers, or even prominent news outlets deserve their share (and attention!), most newcomers do not start by diving into complex subjects such as blockchain theory, smart contract coding, or exploring the intricacies of a block explorer. If someone from a non-English-speaking country wants to learn about crypto security, DeFi, or even NFTs and GameFi, they'll turn to us—creators and builders from their community. They begin by consulting news websites, reading tweets, and watching videos from within their community. I firmly believe that we, as the first door to the crypto world, have an impact on the OP collective, and our applications should be acknowledged and reviewed for the RPGF. We simply want to be heard. Take a few minutes to review our applications and decide if we deserve anything.
