The super jangly guitar tone was achieved using a @fender
#Stratocaster with a Vox AC-15, cranked in an empty apartment with no furniture in Brooklyn,
NYC. #musicproduction #songwriting #audioengineer #postpunk #shoegaze #singlecoil

I always wanted a sax on one of my song, and it finally happened! push.fm/fl/arug5l0k
I normally use a @fender #precisionbass, but this song has a 1970s @gibson Ripper bass. It allowed me to get a deep, throaty sound with plenty of thump on this song #ripperbass

Trying to write a shoegaze song without drowning in delay is like trying to swim without getting
wet. Impossible. #shoegaze #guitarpedals #toomanypedals
Does anyone else feel like trying to write a song without drowning in delay is like trying to swim without getting
wet? #shoegaze #guitarpedals #toomanypedals
This song’s intro features a @EHX #BigMuff on the drums. I made a mono bounce of the drum mix, ran it into the pedal, and used a @soundtoys
Microshift for stereo width. #musicproduction

Raise your hand if you've ever spent more time tweaking your pedals than actually playing✋#shoegaze #guitarpedals #gearnerd #MusicianProblems
What if you ask the best sax player in your town to rip an insane solo on a #postpunk / #shoegaze track? This happens! 🎷
