You can tell we’re new to this “being good” thing, because chances are we’ve pulled him out to focus on the league because Ghana’s matches are friendlies and we need him fit
We can confirm that Brandon Thomas-Asante has withdrawn from the @GhanaBlackstars camp.

Crystal Palace. Molineux. And two of the Greatest Stanchion Goals Of All Time.
Watch, and listen, to them in all their glory.
Then wait for that sensational final frame.
This is Art.

The inadequate punishment handed out to Chelsea, the result of the AFCON final being altered two months later… Football in 2026 can be hard to love at times, but here’s a man scoring his first goal since suffering a cardiac arrest in December 2024. ❤️

💻 Kim Hellberg: 'What sparked my love of tactics? Playing Football Manager! I love the game. I think I’ve been the manager of pretty much all the teams in the world on that game. I've played a lot!'

Matterface commentating on Port Vale in FACup action. As Devante Cole scored, he exclaimed “it’s his first goal since the middle of October”.
ie Oct 11th, a drought of precisely two games.
What’s the lowest acceptable number for a “first goal since” stat? @FootballCliches
We hope you enjoy it.
Be kind.

On this day in 1984:
Fourth Division side Wrexham knocked Porto out of the European Cup Winners’ Cup.
A young Barry Horne scored the decisive goal as Wrexham went through on away goals, despite losing 4-3 on the night.
One of the great European shocks.

Hoping whoever gets the #EFL highlights rights in 2027, when ITV's contract expires, really invests in all three leagues like Quest did 🤞🏻
A big part of that is having a show when the Championship's on an international break.
In order for more people to see the magic of League One & League Two, we need the TV companies representing our leagues to truly buy into them - it makes such a difference.

My brief research suggests that Carlisle are the first and only team to have won at St James' Park (Newcastle), St James Park (Exeter) and St James Park (Brackley)

TELLY GOLD: Transfer Deadline Day, 1997. Barry Fry is on the brink of signing a new striker. But the agent’s playing hardball.
Does Bazza get his man? And seal the deal with a comedy gavel and an outburst of profanity?
Too fuckin’ right, he does...
TWO red cards in #FEFL today. Aftermath of first (Hills) had Stockport reorganise, taking off my captain (Lowe).
El Mizouni (12 pts last GW so kept in team) was the second.
Bradford (also a club pick) concede 90+ to lose Pennington clean sheet.
Four valid selections. 28 pts.

Gutted for him. Devastating.
He's started so well. Injuries have not been kind to us at all.
Wish him all the best and a speedy recovery #ColU
Danny has confirmed Ben Perry is expected to miss the rest of the season with an ACL and medial ligament rupture.
A cruel setback after such as strong start to the campaign, everyone at the club is wishing him the very best as he begins his road to recovery.
