There’s a couple of lines from a Joan Armatrading song: Some days the bear will eat you/Some days you'll eat the bear. That’s how I feel at the end of 2021.

“We dreamt of a time when our sons & our daughters might rise from the craters of our despair. We had learned that homes built of sticks and stones would fall in an unsteady world. We each endeavoured to raise our children in houses made instead of hope.” aljazeera.com/features/2021/…
So happy for @umichwbball Go Blue!!
At my friends’ annual gift exchange party, you never know what cool or humorous gift you might get. This year I came home with a cool rechargeable Moon light.

The Ides of December:
I just recorded weather forecasts for our @MPRnews network, including MSP and have never included things like "severe storms and tornadoes" in a December 15th forecast in Minnesota. It's crazy. Know how to get weather warnings today.
When a team that I love has a really bad loss not much I can do but send them more 💙 love. #GoBlue
Staying home this Thanksgiving to care for my kitty cat, who has had an illness. Grateful for her caring veterinarian service, @grandavevet. Grateful for video calls so I can connect with my family later today. Grateful for pie.
Congrats to Coach Sue Guevara @CoachSueG for being honored for her great career at Central Michigan University today! I have fond memories of Coach G. from her years at the University of Michigan during the time I lived in Ann Arbor.
