And NHS children’s therapy waiting times continue to rise and are unacceptable and distressing for families and therapists alike. Children’s therapists haven’t been on strike. Yet.

Rishi Sunak said today at #PMQs that rising NHS waiting lists is down to industrial action.
Well how about the last 13 years of rising waiting lists?
ALT graph depicting the rise in the number of people on NHS waiting lists for consultant-led elective care from august 2007 to May 2023. The graph shows there has been a consistent rise from 2008 and way before the start of industrial action by the BMA at the end of 2022.
Thank you @LeedsHospitals took my mum to the LGI this week for a check up with the 🩷 team. Super friendly staff, fab consultation with a focus on her life, living, ADLs and outcomes … and I got to pop 2 pieces in the jigsaw!
