As I move on to new adventures and learning opportunities, I am reflecting on my last 27 years as a teacher in #PublicEducation. Thank you @LimestoneDSB and @RCDSB for a fulfilling career with so many amazing memories and lifelong friends. #retirement #grateful
There’s been a sad disrespect for the education sector since 2018 by @fordnation and @Sflecce & now cruel treatment of our lowest paid staff doing the noblest of work. Ontarians should be outraged at the blatant disregard for charter rights. #RepealBill28 #StandWithCUPE #onted

My only “buddy” for the past 15 months has been my partner, a woman. I am deeply offended by @fordnation’s sexist, stereotypical statement that golf is only for beer-drinking, carpooling men. BTW, my wife is my camping buddy too. This is cruel. @TheGolfOntario #VoteFordOut2022
Missing family & friends, including Mom in care. For 15 months, we’ve done our part: lockdowns, isolation & vaccinations. Now @fordnation hits us with sexist comments & steals our fresh air, against the advice of the @OntariosDoctors. I have no words. @WomensGolf @TheGolfOntario

Wishing @LimestoneDSB students and staff a wonderful first day of school at Kingston Secondary School. It has been a collaborative effort to bring this beautiful place of learning to fruition. It is people who make the memories and that starts today. Congratulations! #ygk
“It comes back around.” Character matters.
Today is a good day.
It’s easier to be a parent this morning.
Character MATTERS.
Being a good person MATTERS.
This is a big deal.
It’s easy to do it the cheap way and get away with stuff — but it comes back around.
Today is a good day.

With this wonderful weather, we were able to knock off nearly 20km of the K&P Trail this week, enjoying the cows, sheep, donkeys, and the horseback rider. A gem ‘in our backyard.’ instagram.com/p/CHQu3_Ihfj5/…

This year, more than ever, we salute all educators for their commitment and dedication to students in Limestone. Thank you for everything you do!
It’s been 6 months since schools were closed for, what was to be, a 2-week extension to March Break. Determination, compassion, innovation, perseverance and grit continue to keep us safe and learning despite frustrating and evolving circumstances. #PublicEducation #ThankYou

Received in the mail today. Beautiful! Thanks for the special hand-made retirement gift, Mr. Bruce and @LimestoneDSB students.
Such an honour to do this project. A small way for me to show gratitude to retiring @LimestoneDSB team members. Thanks @LDSBmyskillset for your expertise and help.
