LATE GM! PROCESS FUCKING MATTERS! I’m not writing this to feel vindicated. People got hurt, and even if it wasn’t done to me, it’s awful, especially with how cruel the fake cancer story was. But I’ll say this honestly: for the past 3 years, I’ve gone live twice a week, shown every hour of the process, and stayed honest the whole way through. And for most of that time, almost nobody cared. I’m not saying this to blame anyone for what happened. I’m saying it because this is what happens when hype, trends and fake stories get valued over the actual journey behind the work. Eventually, the gap between what’s real and what’s just noise catches up. I just hope people start looking a little closer at the artist, not just the art. Here’s a time-lapse of one of my recent live sessions, for anyone who wants to see what that process actually looks like.
