🔥 From @StellarOrg to #XRPL : how Stronghold is connecting ethereum:0x516d31321928700c6b4fb0db0c8c6bc5d6799787 across chains and where Squid Router fits.
1/ @strongholdpay is kicking off five days of conversations around XRPL, payments and SHx’s expansion as @Ripple Swell approaches.
The infrastructure behind that conversation is already live. 👇
2/ SHx started on Stellar, expanded to Ethereum, then added access to XRPL following Governance Vote 8.
Stronghold has since expanded to @solana too.
The progression matters: SHx is becoming accessible across different ecosystems using a shared interoperability foundation.
3/ So how does @squidrouter make this happen?
Stronghold uses @SquidRouter as the cross chain routing interface, with @axelar providing the underlying interoperability infrastructure.
Squid helps users select supported networks, connect wallets and initiate transfers. Axelar handles the cross-chain infrastructure underneath.
4/ Think of the roles this way:
SHx → the asset being moved.
Squid → the routing experience users interact with.
Axelar → the infrastructure connecting the networks.
XRPL → the destination ecosystem in this example.
Different tools handling different parts of the same process.
5/ Why XRPL?
Stronghold points to settlement in seconds, low transaction costs and a network built around moving value.
That creates another place for SHx holders and developers to participate, alongside its existing ecosystems.
6/ The distinction worth understanding: XRPL’s fast settlement doesn’t mean the entire bridge transfer finishes in seconds.
Cross chain transfers involve additional processing, and completion times depend on the route and network conditions.
7/ What makes this interesting to me is the broader direction.
An asset can reach more users and applications when it can move between ecosystems. Squid and Axelar make those connections usable rather than leaving SHx isolated on separate networks.
Access creates opportunity; actual liquidity and usage determine the impact.
8/ Today’s post introduces an educational series around existing infrastructure. It doesn’t announce a new Ripple partnership or prove institutions are already using SHx at scale.
But it gives us a useful question to follow through Swell week:
What will Stronghold build on top of these connections?

With Swell NYC hosted by @Ripple bringing together leaders shaping the future of payments, we're bringing the conversation to you.
All week, we're exploring XRPL's role in payments, Stronghold's history with the network, and how SHx is expanding across chains.
Five days. Five conversations. Let's get into it. 🔵
First up: Why XRPL?
When it comes to payments, speed, cost, and reliability matter.
XRPL was built with these fundamentals in mind, offering settlement in seconds, low transaction costs, and infrastructure designed to move value efficiently across borders.
For Stronghold, expanding SHx to XRPL aligns with our broader mission to make payments more accessible, connected, and efficient.
With SHx now accessible on XRPL through our cross-chain bridge, we're opening new ways for users to participate in the Stronghold ecosystem.
Also on 10/28/26. Seems to be a special day.
Agentic AI is transforming how markets move. Next week, the @CFTC convenes to figure out the rules.
Hedera’s @nilminirubin will help shape the conversation.

🔥 Solana’s Alpenglow upgrade is live. Here’s why faster finality matters beyond the headline.
@anza_xyz ’s new consensus protocol replaced TowerBFT on @Solana mainnet-beta.
The latest finality reading of 394 milliseconds and a median of 414ms. That’s a snapshot not a guaranteed speed for every transaction. ⬇️
1️⃣ What actually changed?
Finality is when the network considers a transaction settled under its consensus rules.
An app showing “confirmed” and a transaction reaching finality have historically been different steps. #Alpenglow brings those steps much closer together.
2️⃣ Why does that matter for payments?
A merchant or payment provider waiting for finality can acknowledge payment sooner.
That can make checkout feel more immediate. Converting the payment into bank dollars still depends on the services involved.
3️⃣ Why does it matter for trading?
Exchanges can potentially credit finalized deposits sooner, while onchain applications can act on settled transfers with less waiting.
For tokenized assets and collateral, shorter settlement delays can make financial workflows more responsive.
4️⃣ There’s also a change behind the scenes.
Validators now exchange votes directly and aggregate them into certificates, replacing individual onchain vote transactions.
That reduces consensus traffic competing for block space. It also means headline TPS comparisons need care: fewer vote transactions can lower the count without indicating less user activity.
5️⃣ About that “12.8 seconds” comparison.
That was Solana’s historical finality benchmark. Galaxy reports that recent slot time reductions had already brought it to roughly six seconds before Alpenglow.
The move to sub second finality is still substantial.
What excites me is the practical improvement: less time between sending an asset and an application being able to rely on its settlement.
The next test is maintaining that performance under sustained real world demand.

🔥 From payroll and payments to tokenized stocks. Zebec’s SuperApp is adding another piece.
@Zebec_HQ announced that tokenized stocks are now live through @xStocksFi, including Apple, NVIDIA, Amazon, Robinhood and Circle.
Here’s what that actually means. 👇
1️⃣ What are users buying?
xStocks are onchain tokens that track specific stocks or ETFs. Each is backed 1:1 by the corresponding security held in custody.
They provide price exposure, but holding one doesn’t give you the same shareholder or voting rights as owning the stock directly.
2️⃣ What does Zebec add?
Access through its SuperApp, putting crypto and tokenized stocks in the same interface.
Zebec provides the app experience. xStocks provides the tokenized equity products.
3️⃣ Why does this fit Zebec’s bigger picture?
The SuperApp already brings together payroll, payments and other financial tools. Adding tokenized stocks expands what users can do once money reaches the app.
The direction is interesting:
Receive money → manage it → spend it → access investments.
That describes the broader product vision; it doesn’t mean paychecks automatically flow into stocks.
4️⃣ What does this mean for $ZBCN?
It adds functionality to the ecosystem. The announcement alone doesn’t establish that every stock purchase requires ZBCN or directly triggers a token buyback.
Actual adoption, fees and how revenue connects to the token are the details to watch.
Access also depends on eligibility and location; xStocks excludes U.S. persons.
What excites me is seeing Zebec build more reasons for people to keep using the same app throughout their financial lives.

Canton’s Universal Burn proposal could bring more institutional activity into the $CC economy. 👇
Today, Global Synchronizer traffic burns CC, while dedicated synchronizers have historically paid licensing fees to Digital Asset.
CIP-0129 would replace that setup with CC burns across all production synchronizers, plus rewards for eligible apps and validators.
That’s what catches my attention: more network usage directly connected to the token.
More burns don’t automatically mean lower supply, though—Canton also mints rewards.
Q1 2027 targeted for rollout, H2 2027-H1 2028 is going to be wild. ✌️

🔥 @StellarOrg ’s next upgrade: more customers, stronger security, groundwork for faster payments.
@BuildOnStellar has announced Bell, Protocol 30. Three changes stand out. 👇
→ One smart contract, many customers.
New contract addresses let businesses distinguish customer deposits while using a shared contract. A useful building block for exchanges, wallets and payment providers.
→ Post-quantum signature verification.
Smart contracts will be able to verify ML-DSA signatures, giving developers a foundation for quantum resistant smart accounts.
→ More precise ledger timing.
Millisecond timestamps remove a technical barrier to faster ledger closes in future upgrades.
The timeline:
November 3: testnet upgrade vote.
November 23: mainnet upgrade vote.
Activation depends on validator approval.
Bell doesn’t make the entire network quantum resistant or immediately speed up ledger closes. It puts important pieces in place.
What catches my attention is the direction: making Stellar more practical for businesses today while preparing its security and performance for what comes next.

🔥 From BlackRock’s first tokenized fund to eight connected blockchains.
@wormhole’s latest post highlights its role connecting @BlackRock’s BUIDL across networks, with @Securitize handling tokenization.
This has been building for years. ⬇️
March 2024: BUIDL launched on Ethereum.
September 2024: Securitize selected Wormhole as its interoperability provider.
January 2025: That integration went live.
March 2025: BUIDL expanded to Solana.
November 2025: BNB Chain joined the lineup.
The eight networks highlighted now are Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism, Polygon and Aptos.
Tokenizing a fund is one step. Connecting its shares across different networks is another.
BlackRock manages the fund.
Securitize provides the tokenization platform.
Wormhole supplies the cross-chain connectivity.
Different companies handling different parts of the same financial infrastructure.
That’s why interoperability matters. As institutional assets expand across blockchains, the connections between those networks become part of the product.

🔥 From staking FXRP to backing DeFi protection.
@Firelightfi ’s coverage layer is live on @FlareNetworks, using staked FXRP to back protection for DeFi vaults.
What you need to know.👇
December 2025: Firelight launched liquid staking. Users deposited FXRP and received stXRP, representing their position.
October 6, 2026: Firelight announced live cover for Sentora’s USD Protected Vault and Protected RWA Vaults. Veda and Upshift are also integrating it.
The flow:
XRP ➡️ FXRP on Flare ➡️ Firelight staking ➡️ capital backing vault protection.
Vault operators pay for coverage against defined failures, including exploits and oracle failures. Those fees fund rewards for stakers.
What catches my attention is the new role for XRP: through FXRP, it can supply capital backing protection for other onchain financial products.
There’s a real trade-off, though. Stakers take the risk: their deposits and compounded rewards can be slashed. Coverage protects eligible vault depositors, not the stakers supplying it.
This is staking through a protocol on Flare, not native XRP Ledger staking.

🔥From State Proofs to 2.7 million post-quantum transactions.
@Algorand reports it has passed 2.7 MILLION post-quantum transactions on main-net and says that puts it ahead of every other blockchain by that measure.
2022: Algorand introduced State Proofs using Falcon signatures, adding quantum-resistant protection to proofs of its blockchain history.
2025: Falcon-based accounts brought that protection to transaction authorization.
August 2026: Native Falcon-1024 accounts went live, with support across developer tools and Pera Wallet.
Now we’re seeing the transaction count grow..
Note: protecting blockchain history and protecting the signatures that authorize payments address different parts of the problem. Algorand has been working on both.
There’s still work ahead, including upgrading parts of consensus, so this doesn’t mean every component is already quantum-resistant.
But this is what makes the progress exciting: years of research becoming infrastructure people can actually use.

For any one worried or concerned about @AleoHQ shutting down etc.
Take it from @apruden08
CEO of @projecteleven and chairman of aleo:native.
It’s important to respond vs react to the headlines and FUD. ✌️
Taking a break from quantum talk to make a statement about @AleoHQ, since some people seem to be confused.
Aleo is not "shutting down" as a chain. Aside from the fact that it's decentralized and can't be "shut down" by any one party, things on chain have never been more active.
In fact, I've never been more optimistic about it's future.
There are not one, but *two* labs companies building awesome products leveraging zero-knowledge cryptography on Aleo for real world applications:
- Provable launched @ShieldFi, which just announced a partnership with @flowdesk_co to bring offchain OTC markets on-chain: xitter.cf/ShieldFi/status/211085…
- Aleo Labs launched @alcove_wallet, arguably the best wallet out there for crypto payments with a dead simple, clean UX that supports USDC sends and receives across multiple chains.
Aleo is integrated with:
- @circle
- @Ledger
- @FireblocksHQ
as well as being supported by @coinbase from Day 1.
The protocol has been validated through *years* of operation. It's the only *fully programmable, permission-less, privacy-preserving blockchain* that exists.
This effort has taken many people the better part of a decade. And the work isn't done. There are many people still dedicating their lives and putting all chips in on building, maintaining, and promoting this protocol, which fills a *critical missing piece* in terms of onchain programmable privacy.
I'm still proud to serve on the board of the Aleo Network Foundation, and I've never been more optimistic on the future of Aleo.
