We enjoyed the honor of attending Mass this morning at St. Mary’s as part of Faith and Blue. Faith and Blue works to partner police and faith based organizations to build stronger, more inclusive and safer communities. Mass was celebrated with Father Wayne and Bishop Reed.

Sadly, a pedestrian is killed every 74 minutes in traffic crashes. Remember, at some point in the day EVERYONE is a pedestrian: 🚶‍➡️ Follow the rules of the road 🚶‍➡️ Use crosswalks when available 🚶‍➡️ Walk on sidewalks when available 🚘 Look out for pedestrians and minimize blind spots 🚘 Be careful in hard-to-see conditions 🚘 Yield to pedestrians in crosswalks

October is recognized as National Pedestrian Safety Month. We experience a lot of vehicular traffic traversing our roadways in Dedham, along with a lot of pedestrians in and around roadways, and parking lots too. Let’s all Be Safe, Be Smart and Be Seen.
