On the way home from the airport tonight, I caught my wife up on my trip and the colorful personalities on this app. This was the face she was mostly making.

Dear @BrerOswald and @EpcotEnthusiast, Class is in session! Since the faceless Disney morality police have arrived, allow me to educate you. First, the whole “BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN?!” argument is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody made a sexual joke in front of children. A grown man took a funny photo with a carpet and posted it on Twitter. The horror! Second, where is this same moral outrage over the countless “Anal Kingdom” photos and jokes? Or do those get a pass? Funny how selective this concern for children becomes. 🤔 Third, homophobia doesn’t require someone to explicitly announce they hate gay people. When queer humor gets labeled “degenerate” or treated as a threat to families while comparable heterosexual humor gets a pass, that’s a double standard rooted in homophobia. This really shouldn’t require a college-level lecture. Finally, you’re both voluntarily participating in a conversation about a man licking a carpet while pretending you’re protecting children who weren’t even there. Nobody is forcing you to find it funny. You’re welcome to scroll right past. The children are fine. The carpet is fine. Your critical thinking skills, however, might need some remedial coursework. Class dismissed! 🫡

THIS CAMERA! 📸 The iPhone 18 Pro has been the real star of this trip. Captured this moon before takeoff, and now I’m emotional knowing this is the last time for a while I’ll be flying home to LAX as my home airport. It’s a strange feeling to be so excited for what’s next while grieving what you’re leaving behind. 🥹❤️

Whoever started the stereotype that gay men and lesbians can’t be friends clearly never met us. 😂 And the fact that we’re BOTH Libras? ♎️ I had such a wonderful trip, but I have to give a special shoutout to @jakefozio for being my food buddy, partner in Disney chaos, and just an all-around incredible friend. Breaking stereotypes one EPCOT snack at a time. 🌈

I really wish Disney would revamp its Cast Compliment experience. It’s difficult to navigate, and I’m never entirely confident my compliment actually reaches the Cast Member. When I worked at the Grand Californian, I received Magic Moment of the Month TWICE, the highest guest recognition honor at our location. I know recognition varies by role and location, but I’m genuinely curious what Cast Compliments actually do for CMs today. We live in a tipping culture where practically everyone expects a tip, yet Disney CMs are traditionally taught to decline tips three times before accepting on the fourth offer. So why not make Cast Compliments more meaningful? I wish they came with tangible perks, bonuses, or even monetary rewards. These people create magic every single day. A digital thank-you is lovely, but imagine if that appreciation actually put something extra in their pockets. ✨

I had the most magical interaction with a Disney Cast Member, and I don’t want to forget to tell this story! ✨BUT it involves a surprise for wifey, so I have to keep it a secret for now. Once the surprise happens, I’ll share how Christine, an absolutely incredible Cast Member, made a little Disney magic happen for me.

I somehow get wilder in Orlando and come home more exhausted than I ever do from Vegas. 😂 I’m starting to realize EPCOT might actually be my Las Vegas. And honestly, that explains a LOT. 🍹🌐
