> Predicting supply/demand is much more difficult than company quality.
That is much more difficult to predict because you have a lot of actors (market makers, hedge funds, prop trading, whales, retail, media, investment banking etc). You cant know what they are all thinking.
Predicting future earnings is much more doable with public information available.

When I sold $rklb, It felt going against the grain. The price fell after ath into the spcx ipo. The hope was it breaks ath on spcx ipo.
I had to suck it up and be grateful for the gains. Looking back, the pull back before the ipo was a bull trap.

High beta/capex wont recover. They were hyped up with colorful narratives on bullish run, high speculation and the market let it happen. Capital over time costs a lot. 5% cagr, 15% cagr vs sp500. The longer the market run, the more drag the capex on shareholder value... Eventually they have to pay in some forms, like dilution, bonds maturity either in cash or in shares. For pre revenue this is a death sentence.

If you are a FinX creator with a large following and have a net worth of $10m+, I have a few questions for you because I’m genuinely curious:
1. Why do you not show proof of any of your trades?
a) If you do show proof, why don’t you show proof of big trades, not ones that are supposedly 0.0001% of your net worth?
2. Why do you do paid promotions? If you are truly worth $10m+, you shouldn’t need to do paid promotions, especially if you’re as good as you say you are at trading.
a) I’m not against paid promotions, I do some myself, but what I don’t understand is creators who are supposedly worth exorbitant amounts of money and are supposedly the best “investors”, doing paid promotions. It doesn’t add up.
3. Why do you post your net worth in your bio? Is it a way to amass a following because people see that large net worth and immediately associate it to trading expertise?
a) There’s exceptions to this in my opinion. There’s extremely knowledgeable investors like @DeepValueBagger who actually put their money where their mouth is and can back up their net worth with constant alpha.
For me, the biggest sign that a FinX creator is potentially a scam, is when they never show proof of the trades they are supposedly making and profiting big on.
Talk is cheap.
Prove to us you are who you say you are.

i think too many investors are overthinking this spectrum stuff. it's a intellectual trap.
