Solutions from the US company Lockheed Martin, one of the largest manufacturers of defence technology, are already working to defend Ukraine. These include HIMARS, F-16s and PAC-3 missiles for Patriot systems.
Minister of Defence of Ukraine Evgeniy Khmara and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi met with a Lockheed Martin delegation led by Orlando Sanchez Jr., President of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.
The meeting focused on the importance of stable weapons deliveries and further cooperation. The parties also discussed the value of the F-16 for the Air Force. These aircraft are currently one of the key means of countering Russian jet-powered drones. It is also important for Ukraine to expand aircraft maintenance to more locations, including through localisation. These issues were raised during the talks.
“The F-16 is part of Ukrainian aviation. Ukraine is committed to a long-term partnership with Lockheed Martin. It is important to increase weapons deliveries and do everything we can to ensure that as many F-16s as possible remain in service and operate in Ukrainian skies,” Evgeniy Khmara stressed.
The talks also focused on scaling up supplies of PAC-3 interceptors to counter ballistic missiles.
We look forward to mutually beneficial cooperation with Lockheed Martin for years to come. Ukraine is ready to share its unique combat experience so that, together, we can make defence solutions more effective in modern warfare.

Before the full-scale invasion, Denys built websites. He walked into a recruitment center, retrained in air defense, and spent two years commanding a Raven platoon that downed over 50 air targets, mostly Shaheds and recon drones.
Then came IRIS-T. On his crew’s first night in position, they shot down three cruise missiles and five attack drones. Today the unit’s tally exceeds 50.

🇺🇦🤝🇩🇰 Thank you, Denmark!
Denmark fast-tracks over 50,000 rounds of 20 mm ammunition for Ukraine's air defence.
Denmark has rapidly delivered more than 50,000 rounds of 20 mm ammunition for the onboard cannons of Ukraine's F-16 fighter jets. Ukrainian pilots use the ammunition to intercept jet-powered Shahed-type attack drones.
Denmark has donated F-16 fighter jets from its own fleet to Ukraine and, like several other countries transitioning from the F-16 to the F-35, had already provided much of its 20 mm stocks to Ukraine or sold them to partners.
When the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine requested additional ammunition, Denmark responded promptly. In agreement with a partner country, Denmark redirected part of a planned sale and donated them to Ukraine.
The ammunition has already arrived in Ukraine and is being used to protect Ukrainian cities from air attacks.
On the night of October 15, the Ukrainian Navy struck the Borisoglebsk airfield in Russia’s Voronezh region with Neptune missiles.
Four Su-34 frontline bombers were destroyed and two more hit.
These are the aircraft Russia uses to drop glide bombs on Ukrainian cities. They were armed and ready for new strikes.

From legislative change to digitalised procurement: the United Kingdom is supporting Ukraine’s defence procurement reform through the SADR II programme.
Deputy Minister of Defence Mstyslav Banik discussed current issues in defence procurement reform at a meeting with the UK’s Chargé d’Affaires to Ukraine, Charlotte Surun, and representatives of the embassy and the programme.
In defence procurement, the cooperation covers several areas, with the main ones as follows:
1. Expert support for changes to legislation, procedures and processes.
2. Practical implementation of the recommendations of the Ukraine–NATO Strategic Review of Defence Procurement.
3. Digitalisation. British partners are supporting the creation of a secure electronic environment for defence procurement and the development of DOT-Chain Defence.
The programme also responds to specific requests, from consultations to supplying critically needed equipment.
SADR II’s aim goes beyond individual projects: to help the Ministry of Defence build resilient institutions and bring the governance of the defence sector closer to NATO and EU standards.
This is what a week of combat work looks like for the Buk-M1 crews of an anti-aircraft missile regiment. Over the past seven days, our air defense warriors destroyed 38 air targets.
Each one is a strike that never reached a city, a power plant, or someone’s home.

For the first time in the world, a wounded warrior has been evacuated from the front line by an aerial drone.
An infantryman of the 30th Mechanized Brigade was hit at a position he could not be evacuated from by any other means.
Warriors of the 92nd Assault Brigade, the 30th and 14th Mechanized Brigades and the 10th Army Corps worked with manufacturer Gurzuf Defence to find a technical solution and bring him out.
🇺🇦🤝🇩🇪 Ukrainian technology and combat experience, scaled with German production capacity, can strengthen the security of all of Europe.
That was Deputy Minister of Defence Hanna Hvozdiar’s message at the first German-Ukrainian Defense and Security Conference organized by @AHK_Ukraine.
Joint production projects are already running. The next step is scaling them through long-term contracts, joint venture financing and war-risk insurance.
This Russian BM-30 Smerch shelled civilians in Kherson region.
Intelligence analysts tracked its fire, and recon drones found it about 60 km behind the front line.
Bomber drones then struck both the launcher and its reload vehicle, leaving a heavy rocket system that targeted homes as scrap metal.
The hunt continues.
Ukraine’s Defense Forces have logged more than 3 million strike missions in DELTA’s Mission Control module since March.
Mission Control records the result of each completed mission so the data can shape the next one. In September alone, warriors entered over 1.8 million results, more than nine times the monthly volume at the start of the year.
As of October 1:
- ~3.6M reconnaissance reports
- 3M+ strike missions
- 1.02M+ UAV logistics missions, plus ~168K by UGVs
- ~500K aerial interception missions
- ~370K remote mining missions

“Keep crawling, don’t stop,” the commander shouts.
No one promised it would be easy. Every warrior on this training ground faces the same choice: give up, or prove they are here for a reason.
The marines of the 37th Marine Brigade made that choice long ago, and they make it again every day, in training and on the front line.

A Russian Shahed struck a park near a café in the Kharkiv region. Six people were killed, including one-year-old in her stroller and an 11-year-old girl. Fourteen were wounded, six of them children.
"Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense."
@ZelenskyyUa
A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.
Interceptor drone pilots chase down Russian reconnaissance and attack drones and take them out in mid-air.
Each downed drone means saved lives on the front line and calmer nights in cities far from it.

Drone technology changes fast, so delivery has to keep pace.
Since July 2025, one in five drones procured by the Defence Procurement Agency DOT has reached the front through DOT-Chain Defence.
The marketplace works like an online store: units use state funds to choose drones, UGVs, and EW systems themselves, and DOT handles contracts and payments.
In-stock orders ship in eight days on average. More than 500 combat units already use it.
