A medium sand topdressing application this morning…followed by verticut at 0.00”, brush, roll, and irrigation on our “slightly overseeded “ Tifeagle greens.
Just another day at Stone Canyon, looking back towards the tees from #6 green is a beautiful view in the morning.
Beautiful start to the day here @SC_OroValley 1st round of the Mixed Team Championship
First member event of the season @SC_OroValley Course is good to go…good luck everyone!
Opening day here @SC_OroValley Overseed 2021 is in the books. Greens are rolling great this morning and you can’t beat the view.
#Overseed2021 Ryegrass is starting to hit its stride….16 days post seeding @SC_OroValley
#Overseed2021. 10 days in on hole 15 and our ryegrass is looking pretty good! We’ll be mowing soon. Had a beautiful sunrise as well this morning over the Catalinas.
All of our seed is down…irrigation up and running on all surfaces this morning. #overseed2021
Fwy expansions are scalped down and we have started rough areas as well. Wall to wall overseed begins September 25th….I guess summer is over. Going to be a busy few weeks.
Another 0.60” of rain last night, bringing our weekly total to 4” so far. @SC_OroValley #Monsoon2021
Monsoon 2021 is NOT disappointing! 1.9” of rain yesterday with more falling currently. Low clouds on the Tortilita Mountains by the clubhouse.
Our Tifeagle greens have transitioned great this summer. It has been very warm the last week, over 110+ each day but we are looking pretty good. Excited for a little monsoon action hopefully coming soon! 🤞🏼
Performed our first traditional core aerification of 2021 on greens. We also core aerified all collars, approaches, practice area shortcut, and the DR Tees.

Looking to hit the driving range this weekend? Here's a tip! ⛳
Taking divots in a linear pattern, with each shot hit right behind the previous divot, uses less teeing area than a scattered pattern and allows the tee to recover much faster than a consolidated pattern.
Par 3 Extravaganza this morning at the club setup by our PGA Professional Rich Elias. 622 yards off #10 didn’t fit into his setup but you can’t beat the view this morning.
