Eight years ago today, 24 October 2018, I had to say goodbye to my gorgeous Kelvin, the loveliest of cats. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him and miss him terribly. Run free forever, darling bear.xx

Arranging a short stay for my husband in an aged care facility shouldn’t take dozens of calls, emails and an interstate operation involving friends

I spent the first six years of my retirement caring for my mum and now I’m caring for my grandson. I think I’m more than doing my bit without giving up my pension.
