It was my pleasure to tour the SimpleFuel hydrogen fueling station today. Noting our work with Hyundai and the @NatlParkService, the station serves as a great example of the kind of successful collaboration and research that defines @ENERGY and what we do as an agency.
We’re excited not just for the fuel it will provide for vehicles, but for the valuable access to data it will offer our researchers from the real-world operation of hydrogen and fuel cell application, helping guide research and development for the future.
Today, I announced an investment of up to $128 million funded through @eeregov for research and development of sustainable transportation resources. Read the press release here: energy.gov/articles/departme…

This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for the outstanding leadership of the @realDonaldTrump Administration, our dedicated team at @ENERGY and our #NationalLabs, as well as the perseverance of the American people to keep our country safe since the start of this pandemic.
Pleased to speak @USChamber's conference on Post COVID-19 Economic Priorities in the Kurdistan Regional Government with @KRG_USA & #KRG Prime Minister @masrour_barzani. DOE remains committed to its partnership with #Erbil & #Baghdad to realize the economic potential of the KRG.
It was my honor to present Steve Erhart the Secretary's Exceptional Service Award for his 30+ years of service @ENERGY. I want to thank my colleague for his steadfast commitment to the DOE mission and wish him the best in his retirement.
Thank you @BSEEGOV for the opportunity to tour the Coelacanth Platform, producer of oil and natural gas and meet the people who keep America energy secure. The platform is the 3rd-tallest structure of its kind in the Gulf at 1,312 feet. The tour was a “high-point” of my visit.

Grateful for this incredible tour to see how @ENERGY’s SPR sites contribute to U.S. energy security.🇺🇸🌅
Today, it was my pleasure to be joined by @Interior’s @DepSecMac on a tour of the SPR Bayou Choctaw site in Louisiana. This site ensures U.S. energy security by providing an emergency stockpile of petroleum to protect the U.S. against potential foreign or domestic disruptions.
