This mosque in Liverpool is an inspiration.
We have far more in common than that which divides us. Community solidarity, always.
We opened the doors of the mosque a week after protesters came outside, and we invited them to come and talk with us.
The event went amazingly well, some of those who protested were here, in addition to many other curios members of our society.
We were asked tough questions about women's rights, the Prophet's ﷺ wives, and sharia law amongst many other topics and we gave honest answers.
We made many new friends and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
Regarding recent events that have unfolded in the UK, we want to ensure that our community has access to the correct information.
Please read this article by the Financial Times about the recent riots and how they started:

This is what real community looks like.
In the wake of appalling violence, hateful thugs used a community's grief to push racism & division. But this is how the real Southport have responded.
Compassion triumphs over hatred. These acts reflect the true spirit of our nation.

Got a new MP? We need to make it loud and clear: refugees are welcome here.
New MPs are finding their areas of focus - it's up to us to convince them refugee rights should be one of them.
Welcome them to the job with our template letters & top tips🤝
