The worst thing the “Reformers” did was to reject the Church our Lord built and gave us the Bible. They took Jesus and the Bible away from the Church and created a new truncated church out of the Bible. A church that suited them.
One thing I’ve noticed since becoming Catholic is Catholics don’t use Bible verses as proof texts the way Protestants do. Catholics take the entire revelation as a whole, the full context, rather than cherry pick verses to prove a point.
“If I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.”
1 Timothy 3:15.
Why do Protestants pretend this verse doesn’t exist?
One of Satan’s greatest victories has been not only to remove his Bible from the teaching authority of the Church but also to convince many that the Church contradicts the Bible.
The Bible was never intended to be read apart from the Church. Once the “reformers” removed it from the Church a way for all sorts of abuses was opened up and the result has been multiple thousands of Protestant churches, mass confusion.
Most unfortunate that the Calvin Robinson Club has become a vehicle for so much anti Israel propaganda.
