Yesterday a majority of Virginians voted to enshrine ballot questions 1 and 2 in our state's Constitution, eliminating important health and safety regulations surrounding abortion and striking the good and true language affirming the sacred institution of marriage as the union of one man and one woman. Despite this tragic outcome, faithful Catholics can rejoice in knowing that God will not allow our efforts to be in vain.

Their daughter, 2-year-old Wilmien, was shot in the back of the head.
The Potgieter family were brutally murdered on their farm in the Free State, South Africa in 2010.
The father, Attie, had 151 stab wounds. A pathologist said he had been tortured to death. His wife, Wilna, suffered lacerations to her head and was shot in the neck.
Their two-year-old girl, Wilmien, had a cut to her head made with a sharp instrument before she was shot in the back of the head at close range.
When South Africa’s President says, “There are no killings of White farmers in South Africa,” and the liberal media dismisses this as a racist conspiracy, spare a thought for Attie and Wilna Potgieter and their beautiful baby girl, Wilmien.
They deserved so much better.
Yeah?
Is that why the most Catholic counties in Virginia overwhelmingly ignored the Church’s teaching and voted to allow the murder of children up to birth?
Why did the American people just stop caring about the Pope?

Despite a valiant effort, the VA Catholic dioceses failed to prevent the passage of a constitutional amendment enshrining abortion.
In fact, the state's largest Catholic counties voted 40+ points favoring the bill.

VA props this year are wild. It's pretty much:
Should we put killing babies in the Constitution?
Trash whatever is left of marriage between a man and woman?
And hand felons the right to vote?
They might as well throw pestilence, boils, and hail fire on the ballot too.

The victim’s account of the brutal attack on him and his wife.
Les and his wife Natasha said the attackers tied the couple’s feet, blindfolded them, bound their arms behind their backs, and kept them apart for two to three hours of torture.
Les: “The worst was when they started cutting my wife’s nipples, just to cause pain. She’s a very, very strong woman. A good woman.”
They forced the barrel of Les’ own AK-47 into his mouth and pulled the trigger. It failed to fire.
Les: “It was God’s grace. There’s nothing wrong with my gun. But they didn’t know much about guns, to be honest.”
Natasha was nearly raped twice. Her clothes were cut off, she was slapped, and rags were forced into her mouth until her frenulum tore. Her lips are badly swollen, there are bruises behind her ears, and her shoulder was almost dislocated. Both were tortured with boiling water.
Les was hit over the head with bolt cutters. His face was severely swollen, the white of one eye filled with blood, and his left eardrum burst. He cannot hear from that ear.
The attackers told Natasha, “We’re not here to steal cables.” Bank cards were left untouched.
🇿🇦 Afrikaner wildlife conservationist and his wife were tortured for hours on their South African farm Sunday.
They survived, but only after being stripped, beaten, burned with boiling water, and having the wife's nipples threatened to be cut off with a bolt cutter.

Zelensky on the Russian casualties:
"They send murderers into Ukraine, and these 24,000 are Russian murderers.
Therefore, we should have no sympathy for them.
They come to Ukraine to kill us. And if our soldiers managed to kill them first, they did a very good job."

This is the letter US President Donald Trump sent to President Cyril Ramaphosa announcing the termination of South Africa’s AGOA eligibility.
Here's the crux: "I am taking this step because I have determined that the Government of South Africa has not established, or is not making continual progress toward establishing, a system to combat corruption and bribery or the elimination of barriers to United States trade and investment, as required by section 104 of AGOA. In addition, certain actions by the Government of South Africa on matters of international security and its relations and cooperation with governments of concern to the United States risk undermining United States national security and foreign policy."

I've faced plenty of vicious attacks throughout my journalism career, but nothing compares to the disgusting and sexually degrading attacks being leveled against me and my @DailyCaller colleagues for reporting honestly and fearlessly on Israeli influence and the deeply unpopular war with Iran.
But if you know anything about the Caller, you know we don't bow to bullies, pressure campaigns, or shameless attempts at cancellation.
Perhaps they're so upset because they assumed we were on their "team." They were wrong. The only team we're on is Team America.
And if they think this will change our coverage, they've badly misjudged us.

One year ago, @POTUS made the right decision to designate Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern.
The President’s steadfast and decisive leadership, @houseappropsgop’s work to condition aid to Nigeria and impose requirements to defend Christians, and the tireless work of advocacy and faith based organizations has started to make a difference.
We saw the first Christmas without a massacre of Christians in recent memory. There is much more work to be done, but the government of Nigeria has shown signs of a willingness to address the violence against our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Christians in Nigeria, and around the world, continue to face unspeakable violence. On this anniversary, we must rededicate our efforts to defend Christians in Nigeria and anywhere they face persecution.
Thank you @POTUS for your incredible leadership by designating Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern.
You have always been a champion for Christians around the world, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with you and Chairman Cole @houseappropsgop to defend our brothers and sisters in Christ who are being slaughtered by radical Islamists in Nigeria.

Yesterday the US State Department accused South African politicians of inciting violence against Afrikaner farmers, after the inhumane attack on Donovan Marx. Now, @Julius_S_Malema is backtracking on what he has been preaching for years. Ja, né. Verkleurmannetjies.
EFF leader Julius Malema said no white farmer must be killed, and that "Kill the Boer, Kill the Farmer" was never meant in a literal sense.
A career politician's biggest nightmare is being cornered into a position where he has to be intellectual and sound smart to the press and the wider world, while also maintaining a foolish in-house party practice. That is Malema's reality right now.
If anyone or any global organisation is to take him seriously, they can't do so while he sings "Kill the Boer, Kill the Farmer" and "shoot to kill."
For his followers to keep following him, he has to keep the clown show fun and foolish. The singing has to go on, because the party is his livelihood and career.
The reality is that he can't have both. At some point he has to choose: legitimacy, with sound, sober reasoning and intellectualism, or savagery and barbarism.
