One day you'll realize the amount of potential you had, and how it was all wasted away because you chose comfort over effort, and there will be no one to blame but yourself. That regret will haunt you forever.

most of life’s misery comes from taking seriously what was meant to be fun, so enjoy the moment!

Eventually we will all come back home. To explore is nice though
instagram has brainwashed an entire generation into thinking expensive international trips are a life goal, even when they don’t even own a house. the west convinced you to fly thousands of miles, blow your savings, take 200 pictures and call it “finding yourself.” every country has mountains, beaches and pretty streets. western tourism propaganda is working exactly as intended.

Lots of discussion out there about our next model(!), so I wanted to give an early look as soon as possible. Introducing Gemini 4 Argon! It shows frontier performance in complex workflows, cyber defense and software engineering. Teams are using it extensively at Google, from coding to quantum computing, great feedback. Here’s a look at the benchmarks:

Over the next couple of decades, barring any major black swan events, I think Nigeria will produce far more unicorns outside fintech. There are entire parts of the economy that remain underbuilt, fragmented and ripe for technological transformation. energy, logistics, agriculture, healthcare, manufacturing, construction, mining and more. And some of the biggest opportunities won’t be pure software. They’ll require people willing to build in the physical world too: infrastructure, hardware, supply chains and new industrial capacity. Look at what my boys are doing at Terra. We’re still very early. Time will tell, I guess.
Only fintechs have proven that you can build a billion-dollar company with a predominantly Nigerian base. Yet, we keep asking VCs, "Why always fintech?"

Pls I want to remind you to gravitate towards those that already like it or have interest. For instance, when hiring watch out for those with interest. Meaning that even if you don’t choose them they are interested in that assignment and will find a way to get in. Same applies to relationships, gravitate towards those that already like you or see you. Don’t force anything. Lean towards natural inclination/gravitation. If you have to rewire interest. It is so hard. And effort that could be directed towards natural inclination. Let me give a random example, I’m currently wearing braces and my teeth is great now. If I go without retainers to put them in that form it will revert to its original position. Anytime you want to force anything remind yourself that you would need constant retainers/force/maintenance for it to stay that way. Why go through all that stress when you can choose what doesn’t require that.

I write an essay on personal finance every year or so to leave a trail for myself. The biggest change this year has been managing money as a couple. opemipo.com/2026/09/02/money…

Find something that exists that inspires you and chip in. If nothing inspires you, start something that would. Find others like this. Repeat until career is done.
