Beyond Good & Evil 2 reportedly remains in early pre-production nearly 20 years after its original announcement.
• Ubisoft Montpellier is working on the game with around 250 developers.
• The team is said to be developing a proof-of-concept demo before the project can move into full production.
• The current version is reportedly focused on a single-player, story-driven experience.
• Co-op is still being considered.
• The project has undergone major changes during its long development, including a reported shift away from its previous multiplayer-focused direction.
• Ubisoft has not announced a release date.

Honestly the thing that really killed halo is 343 skimping out on mandatory features like splitscreen and forge. People really forget when infinite came out it didn’t have a slayer playlist.
I think it’s funny when people lie about a game being more popular than it actually is then the game gets shut down or end of serviced.

Genuinely what the fuck was 343 thinking ending support for infinite and releasing a remake with no multiplayer.
Every time I see marathon gameplay it just pisses me off because what a complete fumble making this highlighter ass extraction shit instead of a real marathon game. You get extraction fans crawling out the woodwork trying to gaslight you into thinking it’s good but no it’s not.
Halo drastically went down in popularity when they started going for more competitive balancing and the weapon sandbox and map design suffered because of it.
I always held the position that battle royal is a dog shit mode and extraction is just a different variation of it and you’re a fuckin dumb ass if you disagree. It’s absolutely competitive mode br.
