Congrats to our guy Will Ghanim on his game winning PK to send the soccer team to the GMC Invitational Finals. Adding to his already clutch Destroyers career which includes the game winning assist on three baskets in the final 30 secs of games and one buzzer beater. #Icewater

We are also working to make a (slightly different) D Block shirt available for those interested. This design was created by our players with their peers in mind. We want to keep this design for the student section. Any shirts printed with it will have student section on it.

Student section shirt orders went live today. Orders will be accepted until November 20 and delivered before the season opener. Get yours today! forms.gle/KqQ9onpxMEnwz59X6

We are finalizing some ideas but we want this year to be a return to the great student sections of old. Our winter cheer team was a great first step last year. Come be part of the new era by ordering your shirt.

Tomorrow sales start on our 2027 student section t-shirts. Our guys (initially without knowing) decided to reach back to the past and bring some history to this year’s student section. Everywhere we go, people wanna know who we are….. #Itsback

Now KJ to GB for a big gain. Destroyers keep battling out there in the fourth.

JJ looks like he is on the hardwood grabbing a rebound and picks up a great pick the play after Ben draws a holding call. Great to see our hoopers making plays on the gridiron.

Final details are being ironed out but be on the look out next week for details on how to take the first step in being a part of this year’s student section. We are excited to connect our programs past with the present.

KJ to JJ once again to close things out! Go Destroyers!

KJ to JJ! A couple of hoopers connect for a TD to give the Destroyers an early lead in South River.

The start of October feels like a great time to bring back an old tradition. This year we count down to the 1st day of tryouts and kick off with 53. 53 is the number of steals that Will Ghanim picked up last year. Judging by his summer that career high might only last one year.

Always happy to see our guys representing the Destroyers in multiple seasons. Gabe doing what he does best and battling physically with the rest of the Destroyers soccer team tonight.

From D-Block in 2007 to the early versions of the Shipyard in 2019, Dunellen students have shown that when they want to they can have incredible student sections. It’s time to bring the tradition back. News coming soon on the first step. #AllIn

Got some really great reports out of the football scrimmage yesterday. Sounds like a few more big time performances from some guys we are excited for for basketball too led by sophomore Zach Sallas. Big multi sport year ahead for Zach.

Continuation of what has been a great summer for JJ and the rest of our guys. He is in store for a big junior year especially paired up with Will Ghanim in what will be a really dynamic backcourt.

We also very happy to have Ryan Hutchins, the schools ninth 1,000 point scorer join us to present Jamael Davis with his 1,000 point basketball.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out tonight to support at our annual seniors vs faculty game. Once again the faculty took the W home with a resounding victory. Most importantly the game was a lot of fun once again.

Congrats to Jamael and JJ and thanks to Greg as always for the coverage.

Get up Jameal!
