Picked back up my VyOS Go library today. Implemented configure and save features today github.com/aevrex/soren
Honestly at a bit of a loss with my business. I have a shitload of the work done. All the workflows, all the pipeline, several agents, website templates. The works, but I just suck at marketing and sales 😭
Day 6/100 #100DaysOfCode
Not working on the soren library today, smashed out some LeetCode to learn more about algorithms instead of pure project work
People really basing their whole personality around hating an operating system lmao @OmarchyLinux
Day 5/10 #100DaysofCode
Published the package and tested the connection for config retrieval. All working so far 🥳🙌

Day 4 of #100DaysOfCode
Added skip TLS verification to the Go VyOS library
“It’s not light enough”
“It’s just config files”
“It’s for small brains”
A lot of hate coming from a community that wants their operating system to be mainstream. To be mainstream you have to cater to the average user. The average user doesn’t give a shit about your opinions

So after writing a handful of API calls with duplicate logic, I realised I could've just written a single method with the entire multi-form logic and just wrap that. Sometimes you really do just need to step away for a moment 🤷♂️
I firmly believe that any of my code that is over a week old was written by a sugar fueled toddler and no one can convince me otherwise
Followed one of those random "Make AI work better" images
Added instructions to my Gemini to be concise, less agreeable and borderline combative when it comes to challenging my opinions and thoughts. Genuinely have received better results from it since 🤷
Watching @FFmpeg fight with megacorps that want free priority support
