IISER TVM celebrated National Sports Day in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, the legendary hockey player, and to celebrate India’s rich sporting heritage. As part of the celebrations, volleyball exhibition matches were conducted at the newly renovated Volleyball Court near the Library, bringing together members of the IISER TVM community in a spirit of sportsmanship, enthusiasm and camaraderie. We make our own buffers, media from powders, don’t hv fancy autoclaves, wait for months for reagents & basic instrument slots, & above all b wait for our fellowship to come. Yet v remain resolute n optimist. The world may learn a lot of life lessons from our grad students.
