A while back I challenged myself to model and texture a lightsaber in a day. It turned out pretty good, but it wasn't perfect. Today I returned with more experience with #Houdini and gave it an upgrade.

Just finished a tutorial with #Houdini which showed me a pipeline for #photogrammetry. Reducing poly count but preserving textures, now I will try to get another high poly model through and if that works I can finally move onto one of my own models.

On the right, I store the selections as ints inside a scriptableobject. I use this to fetch the sprites for that ship whenever it needs rendering
