ALT An Unspoken Pact Different fingers, the same shared future A striking image of unity: four hands layered in the center, forming a tight, unbroken circle. This simple gesture captures the essence of a lifelong friendship pact, representing the intersection of four distinct lives coming together to build a foundation of mutual support, loyalty, and an everlasting bond that time cannot erode. We all have different goals, different schedules, and different paths ahead of us—but this circle never changes. No matter where life takes us next, we’re all in. ALT Zai Kraken is the 2-year-old baby of the Kraken family, still crawling and learning to walk, babbling mostly “goo” and “gaa,” and absorbing language and behaviors from his family as he explores the world around him. ALT Lumi Kraken, age 4, is the cheerful, energetic spark of the Kraken family (in this alternate timeline) a lively little Inkling whose curiosity drives every moment of her day. Even tiny amounts of sugar or caffeine send her into bursts of hyperactivity, turning furniture into climbing frames and the house into a personal adventure park. Her curiosity often gets the better of her; the moment something catches her eye, she chases it without hesitation even if she has no idea what it is and even if Mira has just finished telling her not to. ALT Ayla Kraken is an extremely shy and anxious 8-year-old Inkling who clings closely to her mother, Mira, and avoids social interaction. She hides behind objects or covers her face when overwhelmed, speaks softly and only when necessary, and relies heavily on Mira for basic daily tasks like dressing, brushing teeth, and eating. She has no friends, prefers observing others from a distance, and always carries a stuffed sheep for comfort.
