Sending $DGB between two wallets you control still makes an on-chain transaction.
❗️ The network doesn't know that both ends belong to you. It processes the transaction according to the same rules as another payment, including the network fee.
For your own records, mark it as a transfer between your wallets. Otherwise, looking back at one wallet on its own can make an internal move look like money paid to somebody else. 💡

💡 When DigiByte Core is syncing, it's working through blockchain information so it can check the chain for itself.
A wallet opened after a long break may need to catch up before its view is current. The program being open doesn't mean that work has finished ❗️
Look at its sync status before using an old balance display to judge a recent $DGB payment. A current view gives the rest of the conversation a much better starting point.
