The new Vizag Airport is already changing the economic dynamics of this region ——//// My appreciation for Alluri Sitarama Raju Airport has doubled today! I arrived an hour ahead of my grandchildren’s flight and was pleasantly surprised by the affordable and convenient parking facilities. The parking charges are quite reasonable: * 30 minutes – ₹100 * 1 hour – ₹200 * 24 hours – ₹400 I had previously heard different figures, so it was reassuring to experience the facilities firsthand and get a clearer understanding of the parking arrangements. The distance from the arrivals area to the parking facility is approximately 300 metres. There is also a convenient pickup point at the parking area, where passengers can comfortably board their vehicles without any hassle. I believe that greater awareness of the airport’s layout and designated pickup facilities would help passengers and visitors make better use of the arrangements. The eight-minute pickup window becomes much easier to manage when one is familiar with the available options. As for me, I made excellent use of the hour! I completed my evening walk, enjoyed a wonderful espresso, and am now happily waiting at arrivals to welcome my adorable five-year-old grandchildren, Uttara and Rudra! A pleasant airport experience, affordable parking, a refreshing evening walk, good coffee, and the joy of welcoming my grandchildren. What more could one ask for! A little familiarity with the facilities can make an airport visit a much more pleasant experience. My compliments to the airport authorities for the thoughtful arrangements! ——/////
