Steven Levy is a hero it was a pleasure to have passed him by the other day in LA in the first floor coffee area — and this piece is exactly the type of work I grew up reading. Now need a book on Apple , the modern Apple by him no one else
I got to spend some time with John Ternus and other Apple execs this week for the MB Pro launch. Here are some early thoughts on Apple's new CEO--and his responses to my questions. wired.com/story/i-spent-30-m…
I don’t think Oppo has the brand to challenge Apple. There has been no hype for the Find N6 and its predecessors, it was OnePlus that was doing the talking before. And with OnePlus out of the way don’t see this challenging the Duo no matter how good a phone it is.
And they implement is better than anyone else, fingerprint scanners check, Face ID check, probably the crease today, the portrait mode they did better than anyone else only to be surpassed again, panorama, I can keep going on
Variable Aperture is not a new thing. But just like any other technology, when Apple decides to implement it, the interest is high. Let's see what Apple does with variable aperture in the iPhone 18 Pro Max. #AppleEvent
Doesn’t even look like they used Bytedance’s seedance generative video tool for this, some crap pakistani or third world Ai garbage was used for this.
Is it me or every damn brand has decided to do something on 15-16 September. First come, first serve please, even if you’re the one fruit company, I ain’t budging. I am freaking exhausted of these nonstop events. I need R&R yeah I’m

Sending lots of love to the Apple community on my last day as CEO. My title changes tomorrow, but the love I have for the Apple community never will. Thank you for being a constant source of inspiration. My gratitude is endless, and I’m excited for the next chapter!

There really is NO comparison between Gurgaon and Noida.
Noida is superior in almost every metric that actually affects your routine daily life: roads, drainage, planning, traffic, public spaces, connectivity, basic infrastructure and general liveability.
Gurgaon is “better” at a few things: nightlife, restaurants, corporate glitz, perhaps the social scene. Great if those are your priorities. (Noida has improved).
But for the 'boring stuff; that determines whether a city makes your life easier or harder every single day, Noida wins comfortably. No competition.
Our partner @Apple just announced something BIG! 🎉
The new M6 and M5 Ultra chips, built on Arm, represent a significant step forward in AI compute and performance. It's moments like this when we celebrate a partner ecosystem that is actively ushering in the next era of compute technology designed to meet you where you are and where you're going. okt.to/ZrmBCp

That's a way to put it, but yes, there are two elements here a) it is perfect for all the daily work, but b) when it comes to video and long form reading the inner screen becomes perfect which would probably only happen when on commute.
This is an old story which is being given a new spin. Xiaomi is the one which was caught remitting Rs 5551 crore which they claimed were royalties to Qualcomm which is the main chip provider. In fact, they are talking about the chips they are using well, it is basically Qualcomm.

I have to say Samsung has done a damn good job with the new 8th generation foldable phones, I have been using the Z Fold 8 as my daily driver, it is built like a tank, software is refined and the phone is smooth while the battery life is excellent - I'd just improve the cameras.
