Top 100! I never apply to contest. I didn't believe in them. I always thought they were rigged. Now I’m in a 4-week course with industry vets thanks to the Tyler Perry Studios Dream Collective. The next step, make it to the top 10 and head to Atlanta! I appreciate y'all.
How One Word COMPLETELY Changed My Filmmaking Mindset
In 2025, my word is Proactivity—because waiting for success isn’t an option. This video breaks down how one word can guide your goals, career, and mindset.

The LA fires are devastating. After living in CA for a decade, I’ve seen the beauty and hardships of this state. My prayers go out to everyone affected by the fires. Creators, your work matters. It's up to us to inspire and provide a sense of normalcy.
Filmmakers, level up in 2025! Invest in yourself!
Here are my Top 5 Must-Have Filmmaking Resources:
5️⃣ Darren Mostyn’s YouTube (FREE)
4️⃣ ChatGPT
3️⃣ ShotDeck
2️⃣ MasterClass
1️⃣ Filmmakers Academy
Proactivity is my word for the year. This means being intentional, staying ahead, and creating opportunities instead of waiting for them. My goals? Completing a feature film and making strides toward joining the DGA. What’s your word for the year? Let’s own it together.

My biggest flex is finally not having my name in the credits of my film 14-20 times 😂. 2 or 3 times is fine by me. Being able create, collaborate, and compensate people is one of my biggest goals for my company.
I promise you, I really try with Adobe Premiere. Some the little things just irk my soul. And then FCPX limits me sometimes in ways the Premiere excels a bit. I wish the 2 could just have a baby. And don’t say Resolve! I use it strictly for color that’s it!!
