Fire point. How bad do you want it?
How serious is a player about moving on when they don't have a highlight video. I consider it like a business that doesn't advertise. You must not want it.

Very interesting change possible on the horizon. Thoughts?
🚨PSA - There is a new proposal by the @theIWSOC to move the recruiting cycle start date to LATER into the spring of the junior year (Feb, Mar, April) which we HIGHLY support. Coaches be sure to get your vote in and have your voice heard as this is a much needed change!

Recruits, You can start building relationships before coaches are allowed to actively recruit you. Don’t confuse “the coach can’t contact me yet” with “I shouldn’t contact the coach yet. #CSTruth

College Coaches - time for reflection. Are you confident that your players know your system? Formations? Their positional role in those formations, both offensively and defensively? If not, there's still time. Trust that your players want to be coached and get after it!

A professional athlete I worked with had been a starter his entire career. Then, going into a new season, his coach told him his role was changing. He wasn’t going to play nearly as much. I was inspired by his response to the news. Instead of sulking or feeling sorry for himself, he decided: “If I’m going to have fewer opportunities, I’m going to be more prepared for them.” He spent more time in the weight room. More time watching film. More time sharpening his game. His goal was simple: “Be ready when my name is called.” We didn’t talk again for about a month. When we finally caught up, he told me that every time his number had been called that month, he had delivered. He was proud of that. There’s a lesson here that extends beyond sports. You don’t have complete control of how many opportunities come to you. You don’t control the role you’re given or when you get promoted. But you can control your level of readiness when those opportunities arrive. Rather than focusing on the opportunities you don’t have, identify the ones you do have, and maximize them. As Sun Tzu wrote: “Opportunities multiply as they are seized.”

🌟 Did you know NAIA recruiting rules are very different from NCAA rules? 🌟 Unlike other associations, the NAIA allows year-round communication between student-athletes and college coaches. There’s no recruiting calendar and no limits on how often or how you connect. That means YOU set the pace ✅ Unlimited conversations with coaches ✅ Year-round communication (no blackout dates) ✅ Up to two tryout days per school (with potential meals and lodging provided) This flexibility means you can truly explore what NAIA schools have to offer, both athletically and academically. But here’s the catch: just because the rules are more open, doesn’t mean the process is easier to navigate. 👉 If you’re considering NAIA schools, let’s make sure you maximize this unique opportunity. Need help? Just ask! @SRUSA_Official #RightFit #CollegeSoccer #NAIA #Recruiting #SRUSA #SoccerScholarship #StudentAthlete
