New one on Rio.
So surprised by the speed of his growth on the right. From awkward to difference maker inside two months.

Rio's been there and done that before (against Real Madrid in a UEFA Youth League match two years ago). Fourth defender in the area, too, just in case.
ALT Screenshot showing three (perhaps four) Real Madrid defenders trying to contain Liverpool's Rio Ngumoha.
This is how the system works. Would probably look at Rio not tracking back more than Araujo drifting inside.
@DistanceCovered Aroujo follwing his man into midfield is leaving the RH Side so exposed.
This has been happening so often this season.
Was this used by AI at Bournemouth also?

Brilliant from @DistanceCovered on Barcola.
Little video on Barcola, and the difference between a big spaces guy and a one-on-one dribbler.

On Florian Wirtz - no coincidence that his two best performances this season have come in the CL.
I think his main issue is the man-to-man chaos of the Premier League, as @DistanceCovered keeps saying.
Good tonight, but doubt he’ll get nearly as much joy at Brentford.
Micah Richards baffled as to why Doku wasn’t doubled up on, also says that Liverpool were one man down in the same sentence.

We’ve normalised making this guy feel special to such an extent that I don’t think people realise just how truly insane this sentence actually is.

It's a real pleasure to have a @DistanceCovered script over on the Tifo YouTube channel. Check it out!
