You don’t get an Autobahn by taking the speed-limit signs off an American freeway. You need the road standards, vehicle condition, driver training and lane discipline to support it. Before letting people launch two tonnes of metal at 200 km/h, perhaps get those basics right. A country still struggling with fentanyl and school shootings might want to demonstrate it can manage the risks it already has before ordering the fucking expansion pack.
