Where I did my IT as a dental assistant, the management give gloves according to the number of patients booked for that day, if anything happens to your glove and a replacement is needed, the doctor or the assistant will have to go to the manager’s office to ask for extra, and oh, you’ll need to explain what happened to the glove before you’d be given the extra(with scolding and threat) Even lidocaine, one cartridge per patient.😭😭 Imagine that a patient needs more than cartridge, I’d go and beg manager for lidocaine.😭 Even the sputum bowl was non-functional. The patients spits into a container and after every procedure, I’d have to wash the container for the next patient. I hated working in that facility. I’m just glad that the government took over that facility again and made it standard.
