We call on the international community to condemn the junta military that is responsible for countless of human rights violations.
The #military seeks international acceptance for power seized through force and terror. Violence cannot confer #legitimacy, and military force cannot erase the people’s electoral mandate. #Myanmar's delegation leader @ZinMarAungNUG addressed the General Debate of recent #IPU153 held in the Republic of Tanzania.

Malaysia welcoming Min Aung Hlaing = accepting the coup = normalizing the suffering of Myanmar’s people. This is not OK. #RIP ASEAN. The red carpet has spoken. #WhatsHappeninginMyanmar #Myanmar #Burma #Malaysia

.@anwaribrahim has now pledged to do "whatever is possible" to bring junta back into @ASEAN.🚨 That is the legitimacy junta has chased since its illegal coup attempt & sham election, & #Malaysia is handing it over in exchange for refugee returns, not progress on the #ASEAN #5PC.

Landmines and explosive remnants of war (ERW) continue to impact lives across Myanmar, and not only in conflict zones but in public areas; near homes, markets, and monasteries. Between April 2025 & March 2026, @MyanmarWitness documented 170 reported landmine/ERW incidents across 12 states/regions (spanning 56 townships). Highest recorded incident counts: 📍 Shan State: 52 reports 📍 Rakhine State: 50 reports 📍 Kachin State: 16 reports Myanmar Witness's findings underscore that landmines and ERW represent not only an immediate threat to life, but can also create long-lasting physical, social and economic consequences for survivors, their families and communities.
