We were chuffed to see Dog Point feature in @jancisrobinson's article below. Not only did she mention "the current generation" of Dog Pointers "came to London recently to show how incredibly well their wines age" she also included 23 reviews of our wines.

We are opening the champagne to celebrate that our '22 Chardonnay received 96 pts. @HallidayWineCompanion vibrantly describes it as having "enticing theatre popcorn, sparkler flint and lemon candies" & is "A stellar vintage of their iconic chardonnay."

Whilst pristine vineyards blanket the majority of the Dog Point landscape, a key part of our organic philosophy is the biodiversity of the property. A large area of land is devoted to pasture, lawn, natives, walkways and an extensive organic vegetable garden.
Organic philosophies are at the centre of everything we do. As owner & operator of the largest organic @Biogronz certified farm in NZ, we carry out a number of organic initiatives to produce the healthiest possible vines & flavourful wines that are a true expression of the land.
Each month we look forward to reading @jancisrobinson's diary updates. In a recent entry, she described her night at the National Portrait Gallery, London for our 20yr anniversary. A great night! So pleased she enjoyed the wines, particularly Section 94.

It's that time of year again where we welcome over 2,000 enthusiastic sheep to Dog Point. With the grape harvest behind us, the sheep are brought onto the property to control grass and weed growth and assist in adding organic matter to the soil.
Located on the hill slopes of the Southern Valleys sub-region, Dog Point is steeped in history and proudly one of NZ's premium wine producers. Whilst pristine vineyards blanket the majority of the landscape, a large area is also devoted to pasture, landscaped lawns & waterways.
The '25 harvest may be behind us but we loved seeing these photos taken by our own @elisa.cigui of the day we hand-picked our Sauvignon Blanc Section 94. Each year we quietly celebrate when we harvest this single vineyard parcel & this year's impressive crop was no different.
