As I have said before, what we are seeing is by now a blatant attempt to take elements of something open-source, decentralized, and permissionless and turn them into bargaining assets, all while presenting the Foundation's claims over the Dogecoin trademarks as an effort to protect the community. Looking at the SEC filings and these latest corporate switcheroos, that seems to be exactly what has happened. The trademarks have been licensed through commercial arrangements, the resulting licensing rights have been pledged as collateral, and payments have been negotiated around them. Extend this to other assets that were in their control (the X channels). What was supposed to protect the community currently, based on facts and PUBLIC filings, can only be described like a way to turn Dogecoin's name and reputation into a source of revenue for the organizations/companies involved (and, of course, to pay their salaries).

The thing to point out is even before that: the Dogecoin "Foundation", which is actually a group of people and organizations with no mandate to represent Dogecoin, gave away the Doge "brand" in the first place. This is grotesque.
