Recorded a new episode of my ‘Dom Does…’ series today with a little bit of acting! Director James Hanaway guided me through a scene for their upcoming production of ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ being performed by Cranbook Operatic and Dramatic Society. Yes i’ll be in it!!! Or at least my voice will!!! You can hear all about on @BBCRadioKent breakfast in the final week of October.

I was asked by a listener to make a video to show what happens before I go on air for the breakfast show! I’ve watched other radio hosts do it and I think i’ve understood the assignment!!! #notsureIunderstoodwhatwasrequiredandthishashtagisgettingalittlelongIshouldprobablystoptypingnow

This afternoon, I headed to the KORKERS factory in #Rolvenden for part two of my ‘Dom Does…’ series. This time, I swapped the microphone for a pair of hands and got stuck into making sausages! A huge thank you to India, her dad Ed, and the whole team for showing me the ropes and making me so welcome. How did I get on? You’ll have to listen to find out! Coming to BBC Radio Kent Breakfast soon.

It’s funny that I spent much of the week asking on Breakfast who would win a battle between Rupert the Bear (a Kent favourite) and Winnie the Pooh (a Sussex creation). It followed an interview that Phil Harrison did in Chartham about the famous honey-stealing bear! The answer to my question? Who knows. But today, on a visit to the British Library, I saw this charming letter from the real Christopher Robin. Maybe Pooh takes the lead for now!
