Watch the 8 minute supercut here!

Watch this supercut of Tesla Cybercab Technical Deep Dive with Lars and MunroLive team!
"Tesla says Cybercab cuts part count by 60% and needs just 35 main stations. Here's how, in 8 minutes."
"Tesla's battery engineer: Model Y pack gets a D, Cybertruck a B-minus. Cybercab is the fix."
Everything below is what the team says in the Munro Live deep dive:
- The car is "unboxed" into smaller pieces so robots can get in tighter
- Front module holds ~50% of the parts, including a 48V low-voltage battery
- Inverter is serviceable without raising the car or pulling the suspension or drive unit
- Coolant does the heat exchange, the refrigerant system stays completely closed, and the module is self-tested before install
- EAC compressor is part of the assembly, with no separate bracket
- "Our first brake-by-wire system"
Inverted unibody, boron steel door rings, and "delete the paint shop"
- Framing line is 100% automated
- Battery: 88S6P pack, steel at $1.90/kg vs $5-8/kg, and three modules worth $1,500 each can be salvaged. Wireless BMS and the pyro fuse deleted
- Third-gen heat pump, no refrigerant hoses
Drive unit: gear ratio 11 vs 9, gear mesh losses down 7%, same unit goes in the Semi
- 35 main stations, 60% part count reduction: "a step level change"
This is a must see video.

A big thank you to @larsmoravy, @EricETesla, and the rest of the Tesla team for taking the time to walk us through the Cybercab and share the engineering, design, and technology behind it.
Correct.
Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.
Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.
Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.
Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.
That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.
End of story.

HOLY SH*T, ELON MUSK PUT SPACEXAI'S BEST ENGINEERS ON A LIVE STREAM TO SHOW EXACTLY HOW TO BUILD A COMPANY WITH GROK BOTS
they start from an empty github org and zero bots. 72 hours, live.
how to use grok bot, from their demo:
step 1: make one bot per job, not one chat per task
step 2: tell it the result you want, voice works too
step 3: set approval rules, e.g. ask me before sending any email
step 4: show it a task once on screen, it saves it as a skill
step 5: add a routine, e.g. every morning at 9 it sends you a summary
step 6: if it refuses or asks questions, teach it, it keeps that in memory
the parts worth watching:
11:29 - the first hires: which bots they pick
20:23 - building a bot from scratch with one voice prompt
22:54 - teaching a bot a task by doing it once
25:21 - setting up a 9 am routine
save this and study the article below, it has ready-made grok bot configs you can copy ↓
Q3 Shareholder Update → ir.tesla.com
Highlights
– FSD Supervised attach rate grew to over 75% of new vehicle deliveries in NA
– Unveiled the next-gen Roadster
– Record deliveries in Canada, Australia, Japan & Taiwan
– Tesla Semi now in volume production. Top variant can go up to 500 miles at a full 82,000 lbs while achieving efficiency of 1.7 kWh/mile – about a third of the energy a comparable diesel truck burns for the same load
– Ended the quarter with the largest backlog for our passenger vehicles in 4 years!
FSD Supervised
– 4 new approvals since Q2 (Croatia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Slovakia)
– FSD is now live in nine EU countries & used by over 100,000 customers logging more than 160 million kilometers since initial approval
Robotaxi
– Deployed Cybercab into our Austin fleet
– Hit nearly 2 million cumulative unsupervised miles, 8x growth in the quarter
– Austin service now runs 6 am to midnight, with wait times continuing to come down as we add cars & improve the orchestration algorithms
– Added Grok to Cybercab with Grok Bot & Connectors, letting you interface with your inbox, calendar, files, chats and tasks, all by voice.
Transport, office & living room in one
Robotics
– Started production of @Tesla_Optimus on our high-volume lines in Fremont.
These are the first production-quality bots we've built, proving that the current manufacturing process for Optimus is suitable for a commercial product
SI Compute
– On track for 400 MW of training compute by year end, feeding both vehicle & humanoid autonomy
– Austin Fab construction continues, equipment commissioning planned for 2027
Battery
– Battery supply is still the limiter on how fast we ramp vehicles globally, so we're expanding on every front: pack capacity in Berlin, cathode and lithium refining in Texas, LFP cells in Nevada
– Shipped the first Megapacks built entirely with our own LFP cells
– Increasing 4680 output to support ramp of Cybercab, Semi & Model Y
Energy
– Megafactory Texas is up & running, with Megapack 3 production started
– Highest-ever order rate & backlog for energy storage
Grid constraints & power availability are making Megapack the answer for SI infrastructure demand: it excels at supplying large data center loads, smooths out demand spikes, helps new projects meet grid connection rules & makes the grid itself more stable
All with less local fossil fuel generation
Supporting Infrastructure
– Added 2,100+ net new Supercharger stalls, up 14% year over year
A 27-year-old physics teacher from Osaka asked 34 parents to donate $1 each "for an experiment".
She promised their kids' grades would go up by the end of term.
They did. A month later the whole school was using what she built.
She was tired of drawing arrows on a whiteboard. Nobody lets a teacher take apart the vending machine in the hall.
Her idea was simple: take the machines every kid uses at home and cut them open so the kid presses each step.
A bunny slips out of the claw 17 times because the board sets the grip to 22%. On play 18 it holds.
> Claude Code built each machine from one kid's question with the free anatomy skill.
> Chrome checked every frame and caught a lever that blew up into a black disc for 1 frame.
> ffmpeg turned each machine into a 36-second clip with music written in code.
> Vercel put them all on one site the whole school opens.
Every textbook explains the machine. She handed the kids the buttons.
The same trick works on anything with a moving part: a toilet that refills, a key in a lock, a bike changing gear.
> $34 in parent donations
> 2 weekends of work
> 1 tool the whole school uses
Every prompt is in the article 👇

Tesla VP of Hardware Engineering Lars Moravy explains to Hagerty how the Roadster borrows SpaceX cold gas thrusters to make 0 to 60 possible in 0.55 seconds.
Truly insane:
▫️ 200L carbon-over wrapped pressure vessel
behind seat holds nitrogen at 10,000 PSI
▫️cold gas thrusters push out 80 kN of thrust (equivalent to a single fighter jet engine)
▫️Tesla went with nitrogen because “it just seemed wrong to put fuel into a car” (air is ~80% nitrogen, fair enough)
▫️thrusters same system satellites use to move in space (eg. the “psh psh psh" from Apollo 13 film)
▫️currently takes 6 to 7 hours to refill all nitrogen but Tesla working for it to be 30 minutes
▫️uses leg actuators from Optimus robot to manage downforce on wing

SpaceX option package for new Tesla Roadster will include ~10 small rocket thrusters arranged seamlessly around car. These rocket engines dramatically improve acceleration, top speed, braking & cornering. Maybe they will even allow a Tesla to fly …

Overnight, the Russians used 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 attack drones and loitering munitions against our energy and critical infrastructure in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Kharkiv. A targeted Russian ballistic missile strike specifically against energy infrastructure – the very infrastructure covered by the ceasefire announced by the American President. The strike was entirely deliberate and demonstrative in its scale – Russia has never before shown such ostentatious disrespect toward the United States. Russia does not consider the American President’s statements strong. Unfortunately, at least 600,000 people are now without power. Outages could become even more widespread. Unfortunately, there is significant damage to facilities and equipment – at 26 facilities of our power system and four facilities in the oil and gas sector. I am grateful to the repair crews, all Ukrainian energy workers, and the personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for all their efforts to address the aftermath of this Russian strike. Tragically, there have been fatalities and injuries.
We ask America and EVERYONE in the world who does not turn a blind eye to reality to respond – and to respond forcefully. Russia has squandered the opportunity for de-escalation and has clearly chosen to continue its insane war of annihilation. We ask President Trump to impose STRONG sanctions on Russia, especially since the Lindsey Graham bill, which was recently passed and signed into law, authorizes and regulates such measures. The American President has all the effective and necessary tools to bring peace closer through strength, justice, and pressure on the aggressor. We ask for additional packages of Patriot missile interceptors for Ukraine. It is entirely fair for us to tell the United States, Europe, and all our partners that no country in the world should be left alone to face such a deranged and pro-war actor as Russia. I am grateful to everyone who helps Ukraine! Peace can only come through strength, and we ask America to remember this principle of Reagan’s. Glory to Ukraine!
