The untold story of deindustrialization in America is why they did it. How they did. How we did it. The American public has deferred all responsibility, insisting that it was all the actions of evil corporations trying to make an extra buck. Or evil politicians who were making an extra buck by bowing to the will of the evil corporations. The public—it is said—didn't get a choice. A common refrain? Nobody voted for this. But the opposite is true. Many people voted for this several times. They just didn't understand what they were voting for. They made pariahs of every industrial invention America produced for decades. The public decided. You decided. When you decided that fossil fuels would be the end of America as we knew it? When you decided that smoke from the factories was going to kill everyone by polluting the air until it was a thick smog of toxins you'd encounter in a movie? That's when you decided to ship the jobs overseas. The American public has spent decades vilifying industry. They didn't even know what they were doing. They weren't stopping the work. They would never. They still want all of their products. They outsourced it to sweatshops in China. And they were happy. Because the environment was saved! They didn't even think to be angry until they lost their job at the factory. Certainly, the corporations were all too happy to oblige and preserve profit margins. Yes, the politicians didn't stand in the way. But why would they? Politicians speak for others. And who was the other that wanted speaking for? Nobody. Nobody until it was too late. Now, we have a unique opportunity to grant ourselves a mulligan. The public gets a do-over with AI. Will they use AI to reindustrialize America? Or will they outsource that, too? Trump has chosen the former.

Never, ever bend the knee.
The only argument the invaders have about their obvious and blatant takeover of our country is to call you racist, hoping you’ll stop noticing the invasion. Get louder. Never bend the knee to an invader.

One of these days. One of these days a Sony contract will leak and we'll know if they actually impose a clause to make slop gifs/clips lol
AHHGGG! That piercing feeling when it's September 15 in parts of the world, but the rest of us have to wait until later for Marvel's #WolverinePS5. 🌐 🚀

Don't panic over this. Negotiation is not for a deal. It is for surrender. Anyone who still thinks Trump wants to preserve this regime does not understand the situation. The only real question is whether it falls in a messy last stand or through a controlled exit. @realDonaldTrump is forcing the second one. That is not impossible. Look at the USSR. Look at Assad in Syria. The differences are many, but the similarities are enough. The need to keep a negotiation line open is obvious. When you pressure someone and leave no exit, they panic and fight till last second. When you pressure them, give them time to think, and offer a way to save themselves, enough of them choose survival. Are we supposed to forget Assad? He killed hundreds of thousands and displaced millions to stay in power. Then he ran to Russia, and Damascus fell with no resistance. The idea that “they will never surrender” does not match reality. I grew up among these people. This system is corrupt and opportunistic. It is not uniformly ideological. Ideology is a tool to brainwash the foot soldiers. and it's not even a very effective one. Have you ever seen a Shia or an Iranian blow himself up in the West, or take that kind of personal risk for this ideology? No. Never. Shias act tough only when they are in power. They can only fight the protesters with bare hands. When they are weak, they cry and play the victim. They are very different from Sunnis and Arabs in that way. The regime elite pretends to be loyal because they want their share of looting Iran’s resources. When they realize there is no share left, no future for the regime, and that China, Russia, and the rest of their patrons have abandoned them, they will beg for their lives. That moment is not too far from now. As for the brainwashed lower-rank soldiers, (unfortunately the street oppressive forces come from them) imagine they hear the truth from Trump: that Mojtaba has been dead for a long time, that the elites lied to keep power, and that those elites have already fled. All it takes is one part of the armed forces to defect or run. After that the collapse is not linear. The rest suddenly do not want to be the last people on a sinking ship. The regime is an old building that is already coming down. You do not want it to fall on the people inside. If it ends with less chaos and less bloodshed, that is better for Iranians and for everyone. Trump knows what he is doing, let's hope he succeeds.

"Unlike racist Japan and Korea, China welcomes African culture" says this Chinese propaganda video. I agree! We are racist. Please go to the People's Republic of China. They love you. 🤣

The funniest thing Jontron did was inform everyone that rich blacks commit more crime than poor Whites. It sounded so outlandish that nobody believed him and had to look it up, only to find out it was true.

This has already been carried out by @SecScottBessent. Modern war includes economic war, not just bombs. (Kharg is an oil island, far away from strait of Hormuz. It’s not a strategic point)
It's time to take control of Kharg Island

You're a coward. We need 150 million mass deportations.
Republicans, vote for @bofrench's opponent or skip this race altogether, but please don't elect someone who goes against true American values. He repeatedly shows his bigoted and anti-Jew views and is not worthy of any elected office, but certainly not a Texas statewide position. 🇺🇸

“24% of Texas high schoolers are white” Yeah, that’s not really something to gloss over…if this happened to any other people in any other country it would be labeled genocide.
UT-Austin flagship is 32% white, which seems low, except only 24% of Texas high schoolers are white. Did you really want to go to UT-Rio Grande? That’s the 2% white school driving down systemwide results. But it has a 94% acceptance rate. It’s not turning down qualified whites.
