It’s been in development a long time, but finally, “threats-in-motion” likely to come in 2028 as new software is implemented across the National Weather Service. Severe storm warnings will move with the storm. @nwas

Good morning from Northeast Tennessee. There's frost on the pumpkin this morning. Woke up to a chilly 28 degrees here on my mountain. Mount LeConte received between 7 and 7.5 inches of snow at the Lodge last night. It's going to be a very cold winter. Y'all stay warm.

The strongest portion of the line of storms has stayed just north of the viewing area. Northern Dauphin County will be clipped by some heavy rain and wind through 4 PM.

You cannot make this up. Looks like a flight associated with the Nittany Lions left State College for Detroit as this storm was literally seconds away. What a send! @LandonTengwall, was this the team’s charter headed to Ann Arbor? #PAwx

Brewers 1B Jake Bauers decided to retire two years ago. His wife was going to go back to work as a teacher and he would be a stay-at-home-dad. Three weeks later, though, she found out she was pregnant with their second child. Bauers decided to return to baseball only because his family needed health insurance. Tonight he was named MVP of the National League Championship Series.
