Congratulations once again to the twice-elected Susan Meek and to our two newest board directors, Brad Geiger and Valerie Thompson. They were sworn in for 4-year terms tonight, and presented a calm, rational, cooperative presence on the board.
Unfortunately Mike Peterson used his last meeting to lash out at the community in an unbelievably hypocritical display of divisiveness, as he spoke about needing to end the divisiveness and partisanship
Mike Peterson sold his DougCo home & notified the board he’ll be resigning. We encourage him to use this opportunity to prove he has a sense of ethics & abstain from voting to elect new BoE officers since he no longer has a vested interest in the district coloradonewsline.com/2023/11…

Thank you voters for putting students 1st & rejecting culture wars by electing Meek Geiger & Thompson to the BoE. Thank you for confirming 2021 was an anomaly driven by a pandemic & that the community does support safe, welcoming schools & equitable learning opps for all students
Not only do MEEK GEIGER & THOMPSON have more significantly donors than their opponents, they also have far fewer out-of-state donors.
Vote for OUR community’s choice.

Throwback Thursday! To David DiCarlo's history as a reformer. In 2014, he was quoted in CCM saying "I'm a reformer. I will always be a reformer." (David is running against Brad Geiger in District C)
