In 2016, I watched in real time as Republicans around me argued character could no longer be king in our voting process. They said our demands for respectability politics were making us weak, causing us to lose. We’ve now lived through a decade of characterless candidates. Republicans may have won more races during this time period, but they’ve lost everything that mattered in the process. Nothing has changed for the better, not a single facet of our lives has improved. The country has become meaner, more divided, more isolated, and less secure. Our economy has been pillaged. Our political systems have been weakened. The only thing we have more of is corruption and crassness. In a two party system, we're lucky if we get integrity on even one side of the ballot. For me, that's now the guiding principle in how I vote. Because a person who has already proven to be a liar and a thug is likely lying to you about their policies anyways.

The Republicans were crushed in the 1974 midterms. Reagan later delivered a speech explaining why: ♦️ “The meaning of the last election will not be found among those who voted. It will be found among those who stayed home—the biggest non-voter bloc in our nation’s history. And why did they stay home? Well, because they said they couldn’t see any difference between the two parties.”♦️ There’s a lesson in that worth remembering. You can’t win voters by simply telling them how bad the other side is. You have to give them a compelling reason to vote for you. Stand for something. Be bold, unapologetically conservative, offer a clear contrast, and most importantly, deliver on the promises you campaigned on. Voters need to see a real difference, not just hear about one.

Wars, inflation, warrantless spying, wasteful bureaucracy, ideological indoctrination, burdensome taxation, victimless crimes, partisan lawfare, unpunished corruption… It didn’t have to be this way…

I’m no fan of the GOP—but the Dems have been self-sabotaging for years, & the Right has been in control of all 3 branches. All the GOP had to do was: 1- Release the Epstein client list. 2- Not start any new wars. 3- Prioritize affordability. And they couldn’t even do that.

A few reminders: 1) Follow @TenthAmendment if you aren't already. 2) Politicians aren't the right tool to restore liberty or to get the government to stop doing things it has no authority to do. 3) The correct tool for restoration of liberty is forcing government to follow the rules. Numerous options exist to accomplish this from multiple fronts. States can refuse to help the Feds in any way at all including assistance with enforcement, use of jails, etc. States can reject Federal funds with strings attached. Business owners can refuse to do business with the Feds - no hotel owner or gas station chain HAS TO cater to Feds. Individuals can use non compliance and jury nullification. People can stop taking plea deals and demand a jury trial - this would instantly tie up the court resources, and force a prioritization of prosecutions. Consistent nullification on a subject would discourage prosecutors from even attempting to press certain charges. Fixing things will require Americans to get serious about this, help push back against overreach in every possible way. Stop waiting for government to return the powers it stole - that strategy is as silly as expecting a robber to give your money or stuff back.
If you counted on Trump - or any person - to "save the country" - you made a terrible mistake. Politicians will never ever ever get that job done. Only when the people have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for violations of the constitution - will the country be "saved."

The Republicans won two years ago on no new foreign wars and lower prices. The Republicans are losing over new foreign wars and higher prices. No amount of gaslighting is going to keep people from noticing.

How is it 2026, in the middle of the biggest tech boom in human history, and we still don’t have printers that you can depend on? They’re all like dealing with someone that has a severe mood disorder and multiple personalities. You never know what you’re going to get or what new way they’re going to find to ruin your day.

Passive income doesn't mean unearned income. Someone who saves, invests, builds a business, or develops something that generates revenue has already contributed something of value. And there's no guarantee that passive income will continue indefinitely. Businesses must remain competitive, properties require maintenance, investments carry risks, and customers can always take their money elsewhere. Even when the income requires little ongoing labor from its recipient, someone must continue producing value to sustain it. You're confusing income earned without continuous personal labor with income received without having earned it. There's a fundamental difference between earning income by offering something others voluntarily pay for and demanding that others be forced to finance your livelihood.
A capitalist might say, "So, you just want something for nothing, do you?"—only to then take pride in the passive income they themselves receive.

Check out this Eighth Grade Examination from 1912. How many Eighth Graders do you think could pass this today? What about Twelfth Graders? Could YOU pass it?! This is proof they are dumbing-down our population.

Centrally planned economies suppress art deliberately, because genuine creativity requires the one thing socialism destroys first: the price signal. When the Soviet state funded composers, it funded composers who pleased the state. Dmitri Shostakovich rewrote his Fourth Symphony in 1936 after Pravda called it "muddle instead of music." He buried it for 25 years. The entire system produced exactly this outcome by design. Remove the market, remove the mechanism that tells you whether your work resonates with actual human beings making voluntary choices, and you're left with bureaucrats deciding what beauty means. The market provides the only honest critic art has ever had. Patronage concentrates taste in whoever holds the purse. Government patronage concentrates it in whoever won the last election (or the last coup). Private markets distribute that power across millions of buyers with genuine skin in the game. Your dollar spent on a record is a vote no committee can override. Cuba produces remarkable baseball players. Its music industry, once vibrant, calcified after 1959 as the state decided which rhythms were sufficiently revolutionary. The artists who thrived abroad (Celia Cruz, most famously) fled to access the system that rewards what audiences actually love.
