Jensen closed his GTC Berlin 2026 keynote with this Hermes Agent demo as the finale.
He introduced it by saying the way to build an agent is to ask an agent to build it for you, so he installed and set up a customized Hermes in one prompt.
Then he used Hermes, running on @nvidia RTX Spark, to create a simulated training environment for the @huggingface Microduck. Hermes planned an obstacle course with Nemotron and had GPT-6 Astra build it using FreeCAD, Omniverse libraries, Blender, Newton, and Isaac Lab. Hermes trained thousands of simulated ducks on that course until the validated policy was ready to run on the real robot in the physical world.
At Nous, we believe open source is a practical tool as much as a philosophical ideal. It gives users the ability to build powerful, complex workflows chaining numerous local+cloud models, devices, and tools themselves instead of waiting for a company to enable them.

The secular left and radical Islamists are bound by what he calls shared hate. Both despise Christianity, the Jews, the State of Israel, Judeo-Christian morality, the United States, and Western civilization itself. Their common enemy matters more to them than their irreconcilable differences.
Shared hate explains why the two march together, but it does not indicate who is leading. For the progressive, the Palestinian flag is a symbol of victimhood in general. For the Islamist, it stands for a specific and very old goal — the elimination of the Jewish state and the advance of Islamic political rule wherever the West is too tired to resist it. The progressive marches for an abstraction, while the Islamist marches for a defined outcome. In any coalition, the faction that knows exactly what it wants will eventually lead the faction that only knows what it is against.

The Approach That’s Leading Muslims to Christ / New video with @belle_liuu and @Sean_McDowell (link in comments)

ALT The Approach That’s Leading Muslims to Christ... 253,761 views as of Oct 19. 2026 / Premiered Oct 9, 2026 on the Sean McDowell Show - on YouTube. Belle Liu is 21, she stepped into full-time ministry this year, and she has two mission statements: raise a biblically literate generation, and make Muslims Christian. I first heard about her this summer then Scottie asked if I knew her. What struck both of us watching her street conversations wasn’t the arguments, it was that you can tell she actually loves the person in front of her. Her testimony is remarkable and she tells it herself here.
Honest journalism. Read the whole thing before you comment.
Joe Biden surrounded himself with people who embraced modern monetary theory, a heterodox academic fad that taught you could write as many blank checks as you liked without the consequence of inflation. Larry Summers, Bill Clinton’s Treasury secretary, warned Democrats not to go down that road. Conservative economists warned Democrats not to go down that road. Biden listened instead to the modern monetary theorists and their loud defenders online, ultimately signing a $1.9 trillion spending bill on top of everything else, and gave the country inflation that peaked at 9.1 percent in June 2022. Democrats paid for it at the ballot box.
Unfortunately, President Trump has made a similar mistake. He has surrounded himself with men who staked out heterodox views on the economy decades ago and now treat his administration as a laboratory. Peter Navarro has spent his career pushing trade theories that nearly the entire economics profession rejects, and he once propped up his own books by quoting an expert named Ron Vara, who turned out to be Peter Navarro.
Outside the White House, Oren Cass, a lawyer and former management consultant with no formal training in economics, founded a think tank, gave himself the title of chief economist, and has become the most prominent defender of the tariffs on the right. Around them is a chorus of loud social media defenders who insist tariffs are a tax on foreigners.
The MMT crowd promised that massive spending would not cause inflation. It did. The tariff crowd promised that tariffs would not raise prices or hurt wages. They did both. We no longer have to argue about it as a matter of theory. We have the data. The tariffs raised prices and held down wages.
The administration now refuses to change course. That is arrogance. It is also bad politics. The tariff regime has turned into a favor generator, with exemptions going to whoever hires the right lobbyist. Voters now rank corruption as a top concern for the first time in a generation. Republicans are heading into a midterm with voters angry about prices, angry about corruption, and trusting Democrats more than Republicans on the economy. Much of that is self-inflicted, and the tariffs are the biggest self-inflicted wound of all.

the hermes agent community just crossed 8,000 members, and i'll say it plainly, it's the highest talent density i've seen in any community on x.
i created and help run this one. what happens inside is the good version of the internet. someone posts a broken config at 4am and three people who actually run the stack fix it before morning. bug reports turn into merged prs. feature requests get read by the people who ship. no clout farming, just builders solving real problems for each other.
if you're a hermes agent user, a developer, or someone who wants their work seen by people who get it, this is where you come. drop your setup, your bug, your idea, whatever you're stuck on. the community answers and the team is paying attention. open source, open door.
Yep. I've using Hermes Agent from @NousResearch basically for FREE (with @OpenRouter) for 48 days now, and it keeps getting better and better every week. (Actually I spent $19 on new power-supply for a 12 year-old broken laptop.) Works great now.
IF YOU HAVE BEEN HOLDING OFF ON HERMES AGENT BECAUSE OF API COSTS, READ THIS FIRST.
Four real ways to run it for free.
Local, through Ollama, complete privacy and no rate limits.
Cloud, through free tiers from Groq, OpenRouter, or NVIDIA NIM, no card required.
A subscription you already have, GitHub Copilot connects natively.
A fallback configuration so a rate limit on one provider does not stop your whole session.
Hermes Agent is free and open source. Now there is no excuse on the model side either.

Introducing Mixture of Agents 2.0 in Hermes Agent.
Combine any provider's models into a mixture of your own. Access your presets as if it were a normal model in Hermes.
Big improvement in our soon-to-release HermesBench against opus and gpt-5.5 with MoA using Opus & GPT together.
The strongest models are gated and access is granted only to a select few.
Hermes Agent now exposes MoA presets as virtual models, giving you capabilities beyond the publicly available frontier: 8% higher than Opus 4.8 and 11% higher than GPT 5.5 on our upcoming benchmark.

I've been using @NousResearch Hermes Agent for 3 days, and this tutorial is very helpful as I dig deeper into capabilities and possibilities.
The greatest AI skill you can learn is Reverse Prompting
You have your AI ask YOU questions, to see what it can do for you
Makes every AI agent you use so much more powerful
An exercise you can do right now:
Open up any AI/OpenClaw/Hermes. Brain dump everything about yourself and your career/goals/ambitions. Then use this reverse prompt:
"Based on what you know about me and my goals, what is more information I can provide to you in order for you to be able to help me achieve my goals faster and take as much off my plate as possible"
Then once you enter that, prompt this:
"What tasks can you do for me right now to get us closer to our ambitions and goals?"
Guarantee you come up with 100x more things to do with your AI than you thought of before
The more questions you ask your AI, the more you'll learn and the more you'll get done.

I've spent way too long testing OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini as my personal agent.
The truth is, nobody has won this race yet.
Here's my new deep dive with my honest take on where each product stands, plus the personal agent stack I use right now.

If you do any kind of research, you might want to take a closer look at this research tool stack.
Claude Code cannot read 300 files at once.
So someone built a system that lets it control NotebookLM from the terminal instead. The results are wild.
Here is the full workflow nobody is talking about:
The Setup
→ Claude Code connects to NotebookLM via a command line interface
→ Claude searches YouTube, finds relevant videos, uploads them as sources automatically
→ NotebookLM processes up to 300 sources simultaneously and returns cited, grounded answers
→ Everything syncs back into your Obsidian vault with passage-level citations you can click to verify
Why This Changes Research Forever
→ No more 20 browser tabs you never close
→ No more copy-pasting outputs into random notes
→ No more hallucinated answers with no sources to back them up
→ 60% of citations verified as strong matches in accuracy audits - answers are grounded in real data
What Claude Can Do From the Terminal
→ Search YouTube for relevant videos on any topic and rank by relevance
→ Create a new NotebookLM notebook and add 20 sources in parallel automatically
→ Ask questions and export cited answers directly into Obsidian with wikilinks
→ Set custom personas per notebook - concise, no filler, no preamble
→ Generate audio overviews and save them as MP3 files into your vault
→ Build mind maps, flashcard decks, and research dashboards from your sources
→ Search arXiv for academic papers and feed them directly into NotebookLM
→ Upload competitor blog posts, podcast episodes, PDFs, and your own vault notes
The Obsidian Output
→ Every answer arrives with clickable citations that link to the exact passage in the source video or article
→ Graph view shows connections between all 20 sources and the topics they share
→ Q&A log tracks every question asked and the grounded response received
→ Source dashboard shows citation frequency, topics extracted, and which questions each source answered
Use Cases Worth Building Today
→ Academic research with arXiv papers, full citation traceability
→ Competitor analysis from their YouTube channels and blog posts
→ Company knowledge base for onboarding, new employees ask NotebookLM instead of interrupting teammates
→ Podcast research, feed 4-hour Lex Fridman episodes and ask what's new in AI this week
→ Personal second brain, 300 daily notes uploaded and queryable in one notebook
Before this system existed you needed 20 tabs, hours of manual reading, and no guarantee the answers were real.
Now you type one prompt in the terminal and Claude does all of it for you.
The research stack of 2026 is not a browser. It is a terminal connected to everything

What an incredible testimony of faith in Christ under an unimaginable trial.
Former U.S. Senator Ben Sasse, who has just months to live, opens up about his faith in Jesus Christ.
"I believe in the resurrection, and I believe in a restoration of this world..."
"In Christianity, the need for daily repentance is just a truth. I am broken. I leave undone those things which I ought to have done..."
"I've continued to feel a peace about the fact that death is something that we should hate... yet it's pretty good that you pass through the veil of tears one time and then there will be no more tears, there will be no more cancer..."
Powerful.
