🇺🇸US government just ordered US embassy staff and their families to leave 🇸🇦Saudi Arabia. amid escalating military tensions and attacks across the Middle East. All American citizens are also urged to exercise extreme caution and consider departing. Diplomatic sources informed France24, Reuters and some other channels that similar moves were being planned for US embassy staff and families in 🇦🇪UAE, 🇯🇴Jordan, 🇧🇭Bahrain and 🇶🇦Qatar. Some non-emergency and lower rank US embassy personnel had previously been ordered to leave earlier in the year. Legal warnings were also issued to American citizens, noting that Saudi Arabia and some other Gulf states strictly prohibit filming, publishing, or sharing videos, photos or other information of missile and drone attacks, interceptions or impact sites. US citizens have faced detention for violating these laws. US also issued a broader Middle East Red Alert, warning American citizens across 12 countries to prepare for sudden airspace closures or travel disruptions.
