DrBeekeeper in action! Incredible sight of thousands of bees in the swarm. Heart was pumping but stayed calm as bees sense fear😰. Then after a moment of suspense cut the branch🌿.... phew! Such a relief to get the bees safely back where they belong in a new hive 😊🐝🐝🐝
Got a real buzz today, opened the hives for the first time this year (delayed due to a bout of covid). New beekeeping season has finally started🐝🐝🐝.... phew!! They survived the winter and look strong 😌. Can't wait to see them build up & make unbelievably tasty honey!😋🍯🐝

With its sugary nectar, the blossom of the sweet cherry proves irresistible to honey bees, making them perfect pollinators.
As the blossom begins to bloom after winter, share your photos using #BlossomWatch.

A real privilege looking after these amazing bees 🧡. In this warm weather they're enjoying keeping cool by the hive entrance🌞. As we celebrate #beesneedsweek let's all take simple actions to help #savethebees ⛑🐝 bumblebeeconservation.org/be…

The calm after the swarm😌...nothing quite like some old fashioned carpentry 🔨. I love making up frames for the hives. Very relaxing way to pass time, hammer the stress away, and give the bees more space in the hive! 🐝🐝🐝 #beekeeping #honey #relaxation #carpentry #woodwork
