#STAARredesign TX RLA friends! As you dig into the 2024 data, keep an eye on the state avgs for test "context." As a state, the ECR score 0s increased (ie. more kids got a 0 out of 10) in every grade level except 3rd & 4th. If that's what you are seeing too, you are not alone.

While tomorrow is the one year mark of the Robb Elementary Massacre in Uvalde, today around 10 P.M. is the last time I saw Uzi, as I told him to go to bed, ruffled his hair and told him I loved him. I didn’t see him on the 24th as I left for work before the kids got up for school

TELPAS Snack🍿of the Day👇🏽TEA released data from a sampling of 5000 students’ speaking responses and found that students are🗣️speaking 20 seconds or less which isn’t enough. Students who scored advanced high spoke at least 40 ⏰seconds.
