The shills have re-entered a season of credibility enhancing displays now that the vote is set in stone and Trump is termed out + lame duck (whipping up support for him is now pointless).
We are already seeing blistering attacks on the GOP and Trump and a partial retreat from the dumpster fire of the MAGA brand. They haven't quite settled on a line yet, but one will eventually coalesce as the GCs recover from the shock of such a sweeping defeat (though cynical, they are also delusional and didn't see it coming). Martin is playing a Squid Game with Fugitive Caesar in a desperate bid to make it to the next shill season.
As the Dem controlled legislature attacks the admin, rightoids will feel threatened and vulnerable. These are precipitating vectors for schismogenesis (a type of polarization bearing on identity formation). They'll be met by a polemical barrage which consolidates this oppositional identity not only against Dems, but the now undeniable failure of the Trump GOP. It will no longer be considered "trooning out" to criticize Trump or his egregious betrayals. By slipping back into the "dissident" posture, the shill cabal ensures the disaffected e-masses remains within circuits it can control and inflect. They meet you where you're at. They will draw upon the cache of trust accumulated when the time comes to throw their weight behind Vance, Rubio, or possibly DeSantis in 2028.
